i-Ram got a reaction from 1967RAMS in Further EFL charge tagged on
Is that supposed to make anyone feel better? I am old school. Pay your debts as they fall due. So many posters are getting worked up about P&S calculations and amortisation. Bugger all that. Morris has run up debts in the name of Derby County - HMRC, Cocu, Keogh, now some transfer fees. Pay people what they are owed.

What was the point of having a supporters meeting asking attendees to elicit questions from the fan base safe in the knowledge that the information imparted during that meeting was never going to be able to be shared with the wider supporters?

Mel might not be, but fortunately for us he is happy to seek help from a proven and discerning football broker.

If it had been a VAR incident he would have been off, and we would have played, what, 80 minutes with 10 men. No problem with the retrospective punishment. Buchanan make the position your own. You have 3 games to prove your value.

Agreed, it was the glory, not the money that got him onboard.
Life's a bitch sometimes.

Well I dont think we should accepted it and it seem funny that forest board person in efl and the amount they have spent and yet reading loss more than Derby have yet they can sign who ever they damn like.

Unfortunately the "character" is totally irrelevant, you cant bring that variable into it at all.
Honestly, I think it was probably a sending off, the ref missed it, so the retrospective ban is applied....put it like this, everyone and I mean everyone would have been crying about it if a Forest player had done it and got away with it.... (see everyone crying about the boro player)
Its just one of those things, it happens, no pathetic conspiracy, it just happens.

i-Ram reacted to Duracell in Forsyth
If you have to slow the camera down to work out intent, you are essentially implying that Forsyth's brain works quicker than any other human being on the planet.
Careless? Perhaps. But how can you look at that and say there was intent there? He doesn't even look, and would have to guess where the player has landed. Unless the suggestion is that Forsyth has been blindly stamping the pitch his entire career, and that finally, he got one.

This started out as a war between Mel and the EFL partly the result of Mel calling out the EFL on their rubbish TV deal and threatening a premier league 2 which other clubs supported him in. The EFL campaign has been beyond vindictive and our breaches seem to be minor compared historically to other clubs. Must fans like me have been happy to defend Mel on this and encourage him to fight it and stop the gross injustice against us.
However as this has dragged on, looking at the EFL charge sheet and what the charges are for, default on transfers, HMRC, Mel refusing to give assurances at the fans meeting he will continue to back the club, the ongoing situation with not being able to sign players. It seems to be more than just an FFP fight now, the owner is checking out and does not want to put another single penny into the club before he does finally leave, or he can’t but any money in. That’s the growing impression I’m getting and the deafening silence is only adding to that. Either way (he won’t or can’t fund any more), it’s unforgivable. He’s the custodian of this club if HE has gambled and now we’re laden with debt, HE should stand behind it. It’s his DUTY and RESPONSIBILITY as custodian of this football club.
I’ve defended him lots on here, but my faith in him is hanging on by a fingertip now .
