Rooney is dealing with the current situation fantastically well.
Not sure what it would have been looked like if he hadn't replaced CKR with Baldock but if we'd been allowed both, and more...
Absolutely no complaints about his management in the past few games, and there's little ******** bravado either, he's getting on with his job,  getting us results and long may it continue.
 

What would you suggest? A minutes applause?
Of course the huge difference here is that Caroline Flack did nothing to affect ordinary people's lives.
Mel Morris (net worth £500m) has treated us like his train set and now decided to cast us aside and leaving ordinary people to pick up the tab.
To make it worse, for the last 18 months he has lied and strung them ordinary people along.
His acts are despicable and as much as I dont like seeing people abused, I certainly won't lose any sleep over it.

People shouldn't say just what they like and abuse is not acceptable. However just criticism is surely acceptable. The club has been Morris's plaything and sadly his model of ownership has been seriously flawed, something some of us have been saying on here for years. He has been accountable only to himself and has failed because he has made countless wrong decisions , thinking that he knew best. Perhaps he was beguiled by the chance to mix with the stars of the game rather than focussing on club finances adequately. The seeds of our financial demise we there before the covid lockdown. 
If he has ill health I hope that is resolved but he will go down as the worst owner we have ever had. 

I don't think Derby played better football than WBA, but we were effective. I enjoyed the game and their forwards were unimpressive especially the one that kept falling over (thats why we didn't lose) . I can't understand the negative posts from Derby fans criticising our style of play. It was intentional, Rooney explained that it was a selection for this game and it worked. Credit to both Rooney and the players.

They could be openly critical of Morris but then they would find the door shut in their face. But perhaps such criticism is called for now - compared with the exploits of some of our previous owners, are we not in our worst state ever?

I don't know who else is to blame but the people who have been in charge of the club. I think we are paying the price of having
a one-person owner, who has not been responsible to anybody but himself for his actions. I don't see how he can avoid blame for
his choices when trying to sell the club, when all but him seemingly recognise a bad choice made much earlier. How many others are
there like myself who after 60 years ( with many ups and downs admittedly) have had their enthusiasm and love for the club knocked out
of them? We were in limbo most of last season but seem now to have moved to a deeper level of hell.

Action is far more important than anything else. There is much we don't know including Mel's health issues, though this is not to take  away Mel's ultimate responsibility for what has happened.
