  1. Just been reading that Earnshaw thinks Rooney could be off to another club. Watch all the anti-Rams hype now! First Westwood saying 'what only 12 points' and now Earnshaw having a go! Common denominator = Forest! Talk about kicking someone when they are down. When Westwood plays his matches in the Ryder Cup this week I am rooting for the Americans! As for Earnshaw when he is on the television I can't understand a word he says. I frigging need sub-titles!

  2.  Mel states 8 teams still have parachute payments plus 3 teams coming up from Division 1. That still leaves 12 other teams plus Derby! Why aren't they going into Administration due to Covid? Regarding the £8.3 million loan, no reasonable reason given except wanting an extension of time to sort things out with the EFL?!!!! Amortisation - still sticking to his guns. Comes over as quite arrogant saying'that's a great question!'WTF! Sorry switched off as I don't want to listen to this bs anymore! COYR

  3. Pre-recorded, being put out there on a Sunday when most of the 1000 people who listen to RD aren't, smells like this is the last time MM will have anything to do with DCFC as far as fans goes. Will listen and will no doubt be some points that people will interpret differently. I do however wish MM for better health and hope he can, in months down the road, look back and think that he shouldn't have taken the fans for mugs and that if he had come out with more dialogue, fans may have been more sympathetic towards him. We will see! COYR

  4. Been at the match and was so so proud of how everyone conducted themselves. The players are really playing for each other and putting bodies on the line for the cause, the manager got his tactics right and then there was the support. It was rocking at the end. Relief, joy, laughter was abound. We were all on the same wavelength today. The players, management and supporters are truly pulling out everything to keep this club in business. Long may it continue. Very very proud to be a Ram. This is what this city is to football. We need to stay afloat and the league needs our great club. From a very hoarse Ram! COYR.

  5. Had a restless night last night. Very angry initially. I want some sort of explaination from Mel personally to all DCFC fans as to how we got in this mess. Yes Covid caused us to lose a lot of money but what about other clubs, they are not in our situation,YET!! Feels like you see  your best mate of 50 years get run down and seriously hurt by a driver that you recognise. That driver then gets off scot free! I hope some good comes out of this absolute nightmare scenario but it will take time. Enjoy your retirement Mr Morris with what you have left. I will still be on the terraces on a rainy Tuesday night cheering the lads on whatever league we are in. Me and thousands more. I haven't had your money and i dont begrudge you of it, but you have systematically disengaged most, not all fans from you. I know I am a true Derby fan but, hand on heart, can you still say the same?

  6. Inevitable! Frigging angry, sad, and completely numb as to how we are now! I love this club not the frigging chairman, not the owner, this club! Worst we have ever been in over 50 years supporting this club! However, we need to support the team tomorrow no matter what! Wait until AFTER THE MATCH TO DEMONSTRATE NOT BEFORE. Show the rest of the country what TRUE FOOTBALL FANS ARE not the ones who purport to be! The team AND manager need us.

  7. 7 minutes ago, Tyler Durden said:

Guess this could be Morris saying well if you're going to sanction us 9 points another 3 won't hurt to drop us into administration and at least that clears a lot of the debts for a new owner to come in

I was on the understanding that minus 12 points was for clubs going into administration and the 9 points deduction was seperate making minus 21 or am I getting my knickers in a twist?

  8. EFL supposed to look after EVERY club and that does include us! They have their own itinery to punish us any way they can, gaining browny ponts to appease other clubs such as Boro; Wycombe etc... I feel that whatever they throw at us in points deduction it will be  phyrric victory because the way they have conducted themselves in the past 18 months will come back to haunt them. I predict in 3 years time the EFL will be no more and a more 'stable and sympathetic' organisation will be in its place. And no I am not MM!?

  9. Really good defensive display especially the two centrebacks and Roos. These type of games are ones where we grind out a point here and a point there. Over the season these points gained can add up to hopefully keep us in this division. There is a togetherness with the team and the fans (who were awesome) last night. Long may it continue. Pride Park should be rocking when Stoke turn up. For those fans who haven't been so far this season, come on down and sample the atmosphere. It is getting back towards the early days of PP (eg Southampton; Brighton). UTR!

  10. Mel is, I hope, still a Derby fan deep down. I still believe he wants DCFC to succeed to reach the promised land. Bad luck, bad decisions, unforseen pandemic has come and gone and now EFL want their pound of flesh! According to some Mel's health is waning and I can understand he wants out. He is a human being afterall and him and his family come first, as virtually in everyone's family. However he had, albeit reluctantly at the beginning of his tenure, fully took over this great club of ours and we are now in the poop! The fans will ALWAYS back the team, ALWAYS. He has enjoyed the highs and the lows. Mel if you ever now read this forum (especially over the last few months) most fans again i feel would wish you well and enjoy your time with your family. Please please though sort it out once and for all with the EFL and hopefully arrange a takeover. UTR. ( As a side note I think Mel wants us be reach 9 points before caving in to EFL pressure. A nine point deduction would bring us to 0 points which would psychologically LOOK better for the team and fans and hopefully spur us on to at least stay in this league).

  11. Was in Arsenal's North Bank with an Arsenal season ticket holder mate of mine when we drew 2 -2 and Sturridge scored a screamer. When he scored i shot up from my seat but held in my scream. Mate told me to sit down as I was getting scowls from the natives. As i did not have any 'colours on' they must have thought I was annoyed with Derby scoring. Rest of match had a stupid grin on my face. Brilliant times!?

  12. I've said before that it is the EFL's way of turning the screw. They will not let us off the hook as they have to appease other clubs that we need to be punished. I believe their decision will be made after this transfer window ends. Supposed to be an organisation looking after EVERY EFL club. They are just playground bullies! If we get through this, and Mel if your reading this, DCFC will come back stronger and more determined to show the EFL we are above their petty ways.

  13. EFL are not going to come out with a response until after the August transfer period closes. It's in their DNA - Don't Know Anything! They suppose to be the experts in running this league. To me ex means your past it and spurt is a drip under pressure!

  14. For what its worth my take on this is that Mel was always going to leave submitting the accounts until 18th. It could be because initially he wanted to ensure we were still going to play in the Championship this season.I suspect though there is something in the accounts that both parties aren't willing to back down on!  I expect that if the EFL cannot find anything wrong when they are re-submitted (I am sceptical about this) then they are not going to make a decision until after the transfer window closes, thus hoping we will have to go with the players we have and then possibly relegation. Mel & Pearce unfortunately are losing many DCFC fans by the lack of communication. This week is possibly one of the most pivitol weeks in DCFC's recent history. I hope for the best (and I am a positive chap) but I feel we will not be increasing our squad until January next year (as long as Mel can supply the EFL with evidence he can continue running the club financially until the end of the season).
