Wow.
Quantuma are nothing short of shambolic, absolutely awful.

Makedoh reacted to Marriot Ram99 in Relegation rivals watch
I think Alsop is quality, just Roos is decent like you say especially for a 2nd choice keeper so it wouldn't be a disaster or completely screw us over if he got injured.
Think Davies is the player we'd be screwed without tbh.

We have every right to blame him for totally screwing up the thing he was 100% responsible for, being the trusted guardian of our historic club.

Another disgraceful action from the administrators then. Back handed deals. Just as bad the rest of them.

Protests need to be aimed at Quantuma as well as the EFL. They’re contributing towards this mess as well. At best incompetent, at worst downright Morris’

The man oozes dignity and class.
How my opinion of the man has changed over the past 12 months. He has always been a world-class footballer, but he is also a world-class human being.

Margaret Beckett: "He said in his opening remarks that nobody wants to see the club go under. Well, some of us are beginning to wonder."
I want to hear something strong from the Minister on this soon. He isn't there, but he has to come out strong on it. Great to hear the contribution from Julian Knight MP, too, saying that the EFL should show decency after relying on a bailout themselves.

Makedoh reacted to Ram-Alf in Stupid ticket system
I have to tell you this incident, I was in my local surgery a few months back for a blood and urine test(just old age check up)while waiting a man came in and wanted to make an appointment, Receptionist said she was not allowed to at the surgery YOU HAVE to phone in, He said he tried countless times but always got cut off after waiting ages, She appologised and gave him a number., He rang and got straight through, It was the receptionist he was looking at her speaking to make the appointment...my urine trickled down my legs.

Makedoh reacted to ilkleyram in Stupid ticket system
In fairness to football clubs they’re not the only ones taking advantage of covid to accelerate the process of making their systems more efficient - how many GP surgeries now consult online or over the phone, cars are being sold and bought online without you leaving your armchair, more and more shops are cashless, businesses are encouraging staff to work from home so that they can have smaller offices, you pay restaurant bills via an app - and so the list goes on.
Some customers will vote with their feet, others will give up, most will adapt because they'll have to, either by learning new ways or by getting others to help. New businesses will develop to help fill in the gaps. Twas ever thus.

Makedoh reacted to rammieib in Attendance
But here is the thing, Lets say the ticket office opens, and you need to employ a further three people for one month - lets say that is circa £6-8k of cost.
That is circa 300-350 extra tickets sold just for the first game of the season to cover that cost. Even myself as a glass half emtpy person at times would have expected circa 1000 extra through the gate for that first game of the season with an open ticket office.
The club is being run by some completely useless people at the moment. When they are desperate for any additional revenue, they could have got an extra £30k for the home game, probably another £5-10k for tonight just by having an open ticket office.
Not having ST's for sale as well yet - wow - That's probably £2 Million of cash flow/sales they have lost out on so far. Yes - they will get it very soon, but I'm pretty sure circa 5,000 ST's would have been sold to both 19/20 ST holders and new ST holders in the 2-4 weeks before the first game and 5,000 x £400 is £2 Million.
Just utterly utterly bizarre.

Rammie's contract expired and the EFL wouldn't let us renew it. As for Ewie, I'm not sure, but we are now serving mutton burgers on the concourses.

Makedoh reacted to MACKWORTHRAM in Yankee Doodle Derby
To be perfectly honest. I don't care about hearing about a takeover. After the last 2, I'd rather just know about it when it's done.
The takeover isn't bothering me.
What's bothering me is that the man that owns us has ran us into the ground.
The man that owns us was a man that grew up on the terraces of the Baseball Ground like we all did, a fan, a supporter, been there through the good and through the bad, a man who supposedly wants the best for the club, a man who would sell us for £1 if it was to the right person.
Takeover or not, how this man has allowed us to be one week and 6 days from a season starting without us being able to put a team out is quite frankly disgusting. How can he be letting this happen?
They would have known that they would have to resubmit their accounts long before the verdict was announced (or at the very worse know that it was highly likely that it was going to happen) How they haven't been submitted already is beyond a joke. Mel knows exactly what we need to do to get out of this embargo and he hasn't done it.
Takeover or not, we should not be in this position, even in the dark times we have had, we have always had a team.
How can we be going into a season a week on Saturday without a centre half in the squad is disgusting.
Stephen Pearce is despicable, he's bare faced lied on Radio Derby and 3 weeks ago he did an interview with the BBC saying "We have a core of senior players and extremely talented academy players that is enough to operate with and we have a plan for the rest of the window, we are not rushing to fill the squad"
We have one centre forward and no centre halves but according to Pearce we have enough to operate with.
Also we haven't heard a single thing from the club since then and no positive actions have been done to get us out of this embargo.
How Pearce and Morris have treated the fans is nothing short of disgraceful. They don't care about us.
This is the worst state the club has been in my lifetime and the blame lies at one man's door.
Cannot wait till he's out if this club and never comes back. The bloke is poison.
Always remember when things are going well he was everywhere.

Football is a Saturday afternoon with your brother or mates.
Football is about arguing about the team, the tactics, the players, the manager and the oppostion.
Football is the banter, the sounds, the smells(!!), the andrenaline of walking to the ground - it's an emotion of highs and lows within just 90 minutes, and the next week, whatever the previous result may be, you go again.
Once you have committed to a club, it's yours for life, whatever division the team plays in.
I'm 69 years of age, and next Easter Monday 2022, will be the 60th anniversary of the first time I watched Derby County, when my dear father and uncle took me and my brother to the Baseball Ground.
I've stood on terraces, in all weathers, sat on hard seats, been treated to the hospitality suite, and even played on Pride Park in a charity game and football have given me despair at time, but also much enjoyment over the years.
I even bought a season ticket when I was working overseas and only saw 4 home games a season for 3 years, but I still supported Derby County from afar.
Whatever division The Rams find themselves in next season, I will shout at them, criticise them, moan until I'm blue in the face, but I'll support them because they are my club from my home town.

Its not 1 million profit though is it. We have spent so much money on our academy and spent a lot of time and effort on this kid alone, let alone the cash side. What's the point of an academy if your attitude is, well he might not make it anyway let's sell him at the first opportunity.
