What a terrible missed opportunity. So disappointing. Win and we'd be able to relax and look forward to a free hit next weekend, before the serious business begins. 
These players do not seem able to handle pressure. The long unbeaten run gave us a (very slim) shot at the top 2, but as soon as we came close we collapsed. It doesn't give me confidence. We don't seem to have enough winners in the team. 

How on Earth are we going to beat  any of the top teams over two legs.

Remember how awful the state of the pitch was during administration? Just another small indicator of how much of a mess we were left in by our previous custodian.
Things like paying staff to maintain the pitch isn’t really something that’s thought about in football, but is just another thing that highlights the difference between an owner that cares and one that doesn’t.

And haven’t we moaned about it? We’ll be screaming blue murder on Saturday if the Burton keeper even thinks about doing what Wildsmith did. So it seems reasonable when fans of other teams complain. 
 
I hate to see it just as much from our players as the opponents. All we do is accept the criticism as a fair cop but relish, with a tinge of embarrassment that we had to resort to such blatant tactics, picking up the three points. 🐏

Sorry but you don't speak for me here, I certainly didn't enjoy it.
As a football fan I pay to be entertained at matches, not watching time wasting and grown men rolling around pretending to be hurt.
Its really beginning to spoil my enjoyment of matches.
I know there's the argument of 'everyone else is doing it so why shouldn't we', that's how it started when foreigners introduced diving into our game too and look how bad that has got.
We've regularly called out players for cheating this season so it would be hypocritical not to do the same when its our players doing it.

Hope we can rest up and get it right this weekend. Peterborough have Ipswich, we have Burton. This is going to be our best chance of getting back in to the top 6 and then staying there.

Players are still human beings though, there's a limit as to how much effort they can actually produce.  If you look at a Guardiola team, for example, they also press really aggressively, but they can afford to do that because when they win the ball back, they keep it for 50 passes and let the other team chase it.  We literally do the opposite - press aggressively, win it back, then give it away again so we have to start all over.  It's the good old "work smarter, not harder" thing - so much of the effort we put in is just wasted by immediately lumping a big ball over the top back to their keeper.

I've only seen one person throwing their toys out of the pram.  Highlighting some of Warne's weaknesses is not slashing your wrists.   Might as well close the forum down if people aren't allowed to post their thoughts for fear of being negative.

Warne has been tactically found out in the past 10-12 games. We’ve won 3 out of the past 10. We looked up to top 2 at one point now we’re 1 point from 7th spot and defiantly are not getting playoffs. He needs to sort his poo out

This season wasn't a free hit when we got rid of the free hit manager and replaced him with a League One promotion specialist on a 4-year-deal. We firmly nailed our colours to the mast when we did that.
I think we're witnessing a painful regression to the mean. We were clean and clinical in our run of easier games but it's starting to unravel because our squad is too disjointed. 
I don't agree that we "should" be pushing top 2. Almost every player in our squad wouldn't look out of place in a top 2 side in this league, but our squad is too much of a weird mix of grafters and tidy footballers for us to trouble the more coherent sides. Doesn't help that half the squad is learning how to shave and the other half is eligible for a free bus pass.

Massive mistake giving Warne a 4 year contract. A one trick pony & his trick makes your eyes bleed to watch it. 

If we don’t get playoffs, Warne should be sacked.

Lost a grandparent from both sides of the family yesterday. My dads mum passed away in the afternoon, shortly and more unexpectedly followed by my grandad on my mums side in the early evening.
Not really sure how to best process it and it’s all been a bit overwhelming. 
Especially my grandad who I was really really close to. He’s the reason I’m into football, and the rams in particular. They were a massive passion of his. 
 
Will miss them both a lot
