If we can't draw at Cambridge and beat Carlisle at home we don't deserve to go up automatically.

I agree the ball should have been better but it was still an absolutely shocking miss.

Not sure how adding Bradley helps in any logical way.
Our problems are in attack. We have a selection of forwards who either aren’t fully fit or otherwise just aren’t good enough.
Smith and Adams battled manfully in midfield but they desperately need a third player they can rely upon. Ward provided that briefly. Bird’s return would help massively.
We have the version of James Collins who runs around a lot without being creative and Washington who gets behind defences and then….nothing.
NML looks cursed. I have never seen a player kick the ball into touch as often.
We know CBT can be good, but does he?
What surprised me last night was our willingness to pump the ball in the air again, letting Wildsmith take long free kicks when creativity was needed. I hope that they will practice in training the slick first time passing which can produce the three wins we need.
 
 

NML has been gradually ground down over the season. Same happened last season. And yet we expect miracles from him 

Whatever Clowes has done, and we're eternally grateful for what that, the appointment of Warne felt strange but it's looking to be awful. While tonight was grim, it wasn't particularly out of character or surprising, it was utterly predictable. Promotion or not, he's not the future 

Every time I start to feel slightly positive towards Warne, a performance like this comes along and ruins it. Absolutely nothing all game. I don't even know how to describe it. I can't even remember much details of the game. It's just a blur of nothingness.  

The thought of having to watch another 46 game season with Warne in charge, one way to kill your love of football.

Absolutely infuriating listening to that. If it's that difficult now, good luck playing Watford, West Brom etc every week. Christ.

People aren’t angry at the result. They’re angry at watching an absolutely awful performance when we need players standing up and being counted. 
 
I had us down for 10 points out of our last 4 so the draw is no odds but I can’t see how a team in second with 3 matches left can be outplayed so easily in the second half. Especially when we’ve had a week on the training ground and more legs. 

Not a doom merchant but the game management is shocking, play with no urgency or tempo. Terrible substitutions and tactical decisions. It has been the same all season. I remember Warne saying he loves a good throw in yet we must be the worst in the league at them  
We’re second in the league but on the whole a forgettable season with very few highlights. How many promotion worthy performances have we put in???
So so so disappointing. To say we have a team who know what it takes to get out the league and fail to take advantage against teams like Northampton and Wycombe is inexcusable. 

We were terrible and we no longer have control of our own destiny, I think it's pretty normal to be pissed off no? 

I’m usually one trying to be rational about these things, but that performance at this time of the season bordered disgusting for me. Lazy passing, headless running, poor touches…and that was just Kane Wilson who gave one of the worst performances I’ve seen in a derby shirt this season. Don’t like singling out players for criticism, rarely do it, but for all his ‘Jack the lad’ persona not enough quality shines through when it matters. 
Within the context of the season and where we are, it was shockingly bad. I could have wax lyrical for hours about how good Derby were last week and every inch of praise was deserved. They lost all that goodwill tonight.
I’ve got very little more I can say, it’s not that they haven’t won but the attitude/performance for where we are in the season was so below par.

We can't go into another game with Sibley and CBT down one flank.
It made me want to scratch my eyes out with a rusty nail.
 

Never understand what managers see in Washington 

Its funny how you can say how bad the football is all season and get slated for being negative and all this paul warne knows how to get out the league, to where because we dont win everyone agrees 😂 said it for ages warne should of been gone ages ago 

Sadly Portsmouth will have secured 1st place and taken their foot off the gas when they play Bolton, who will therefore take 2nd place!
It should be Portsmouth fighting for 2nd place, not us.

But also we were such a stupid team ...no game management/understanding at all.
Stupid off-sides, terrible free-kicks, shooting that was eye-bleedingly bad, poor anticipation,  giving away free kicks, passing to nobody, running into dead-ends... on and on... just amateurish.
Warne has to take responsibility today, failure to go up and I wouldn't cry if we decided he'd had his chance and looked elsewhere.

We don’t deserve to go up full stop. Where is the passion and drive? The players know the situation. Where’s the urgency. I dont get it. Should be going all out last ten in my opinion. How many shots on goal. Cash Ebou and Nelson have been immense all season and are the players can hold their head up high. To be fair I think it was Adam’s who sunk to his knees at the end. Runs himself into the ground. One of only a minuscule handful that do unfortunately 

Bottlejobs. With a chance to almost seal autos this lot gives another gutless performance after a week off. No shots on target against a side that played itself out on Sunday. No leadership on or off the field, just some s*** dad jokes.

It's not the drawing, it's not the point, its the horrendous showing from everyone other than the defence and Adams. Everyone else way off it. I genuinely think NML should not be captain. Great player on his day but so awful tonight, bickering with his team mates, woeful passing, shocking finishing, just not right for the role imo. 
We need Gayle back, that man will save the autos.

Warne's football and tactics are dire, I never thought being 2nd in the league could be this depressing but it's an impressive feat.

Genuinely quite fed up with this team now. They do decently well up to the point they actually find themselves in a good position and every time they just choke it and we got back to square one. 
Whether we squeak up or not, this team needs serious changes. 

If we don’t go up - given the position we were in before this match then we just don’t deserve it.
 
 
Honestly though this football has been absolutely horrible. 
 
Anyone who whinged about Mac not having a plan B hang your head in shame.
We don’t even have a plan A here.
