Premier ram reacted to Day in Stat Pad Derby
Just gonna leave this here.
Those that remember this night, will also remember what Leeds did to us throughout the season.

Ha, but we usually make more noise when there's fewer of us. We were top notch last night!

Tin hat on, but I've often thought that those that obsess over stats to justify their opinions need to spend a bit more time watching the football and a bit less time with their eyes on their phones. Stats can be useful - to a point - but obsessing over them takes the joy out of watching a craftsman at work.....

Why does the modern game obsess with stats and hence we always have to pull people's stats apart to suit an argument? He's been truly marvellous and a joy to watch is actually all I care about. He also noticeably looks after the youngsters.

No they aren't, you've just come up with some random rubbish to try and flaw them.
Time for a new thread I think, IS BRIS VEGAS A SECOND RATE POSTER?

Hold on, hold on, hold on right there for one second.
If you was to do the same with say Messi, Ronaldo, Haaland, Salah, removed all goals which their clubs would have won anyway, how many goals would they have had?
You can’t just dismiss goals as they didn’t “win” the game, I mean you can and are free to do so, yet to say his numbers are flawed is a little silly.
Say we finished level on points with Peterborough in 6th place, yet we finished ahead on goal difference, do we shout McGoldrick back over and say you can have those goals again now? Come on now.

Premier ram reacted to Tamworthram in Run in to play offs...
I said in an earlier post that we have never scored more than one goal against Burton in a competitive match but that doesn’t mean it can never happen. Here’s hoping for Saturday.

Initial allocation of just north of 2k for Wednesday can’t be right????

Premier ram reacted to angieram in Liam Thompson - Scunthorpe loan until end of season
Warne himself said he wasn't keen on the idea.
"Not very good"? Mmmmm....try telling that to Rooney. He might be a foot too small, and not physical enough for Warne, but that doesn't make him "not very good."

Premier ram reacted to Gee SCREAMER !! in Frank Lampard
They do. Doesn't change the choice of original line up when we were a goal down to start, then two down because of lack of goal threat. Bloke was tactically clueless. Any comeback was due to a bloke coming on with a point to prove and Leeds losing their s*** under pressure. The 6 weeks where we were totally dreadful without Mount showed that. Not fit to wipe the sweat of McClarens sack. Bloke wasted a fortune on dross then fecked off.

Hughes and Hendrick had both played blinders (and scored) in the semis v Brighton and were playing so well that, at the time, keeping them in the XI made sense. In exactly the same vein, after Marriott performs his heroics and single-handedly gets us to Wembley, why wouldn't you start him...? I get your point but the Bennett thing was far more baffling than Bryson.
And I suspect the sour taste with Lampard comes from the 'Should I Stay or Go' clip, that felt like him openly taunting the club who had handed him his managerial start. If he had that much contempt for the fans who were obviously going to see it, and the club by messing up our pre-season a bit, then I do understand why he isn't remembered totally fondly; even if my personal stance is more ambivalence than anything else.

Glad it's happened to someone else, well out of his depth, another one of Mel Morris mistakes.

When I served in the Navy 😉 I was Chief Petty Officer, I'm no fan of McClaren after the shenanigans of the Newcastle debacle, I'm no fan of the pretty boy after his loooong escapade in the Mediterranean while being courted by Chelsea, I can be a very vindictive ass where someone imo has taken advantage of DCFC...it's my Anglo-Saxon blood you see...I just can't help it 👍
So I take great pleasure in having a giggle at their expense and I know they'll be "bovvered" when they read this 😁

Premier ram reacted to Day in Manchester City Champions League
Nothing to do with ownership, it’s the speed in which they have bought their way to the top. Inflating transfer fees on their way which has a knock on effect down the leagues, both stock piling youngsters from young ages that have an ounce of potential.
Man City have also been found to have “sponsors” by companies that appear to have no head office or staff, continue to just get away with it.
I also don’t buy into this Pep is a genius talk, you walk into a club like Barca with Messi, Xavi, Iniesta, Bayern that were already dominating, Man City where it’s £50m here, £50m there. He’s not a bad manager, don’t get me wrong, just massively overhyped in my opinion.
Not a problem with new clubs breaking into the top, clubs like Brighton and Brentford you can see building their way up there, whilst they will never break into the top, it’s more impressive what they are doing than when the oil boys money rolls into town for a game of fantasy football.
PSG equally distasteful outside the UK in how they are going about their business.

I don't care. There's not much to like about any of the super teams and any semblance of national pride in an "English" team performing well in Europe became irrelevant a long time ago. Super rich soulless PLC A vs super rich soulless PLC B.

Premier ram reacted to Carnero in Manchester City Champions League
I don't care too much about the Champions League in all honesty, but given the choice I'd prefer Real Madrid to knock them out.
I don't like Man City being elevated far above their real status due to the inordinate wealth of their owners. Just as I didn't like Chelsea when Abramovich came in spending money like it was going out of fashion.
I'd hate that to happen to Derby, honestly, I'm happy with what we are, the history we have and who we represent, so it's certainly not jealousy.

I think we do try.
I think the difficulty at away games is that the demographic is so diverse and everyone wants a different match-going experience and to get behind the team in their own way.
Not everyone wants to sing songs about Collymore, Forest, the city of Nottingham or Mendez Laing’s private parts!
That said, people will come into their own. I fully expect my fiancée to be leading the McGoldrick chants at Wembley.

Premier ram got a reaction from Ramarena in Exeter City (A) Tues 18th April
was at the game , fans were absolutely superb , im sure our support dragged our lads over the finish line, a good away display and there were signs second half that we were getting some of our confidence and swagger back. Big shouts out for Conor, Didzy, of course and Birdy , who looks back to his old self, i want to give a special mention for Curtis Davies , an absolute giant at the back last night , especially after they scored.
Now for two massive fixtures at PP lets get those noise levels at fever pitch for the lads , together we can do it COYR
