I don’t see presenters wages being cut to the bone. Lineker, Zoe Ball, etc etc. cut them first not local radio.

Why are people always looking for comparisons? Could Collins be our next Hector? Could Cashin be our next Colin Todd? Could Clowes be our next Lionel Pickering?

Everyone is different in all areas in life! Paul Warne wears his heart on his sleeve, something Nigel Pearson rarely did! Give the bloke a chance!!

Exactly this, let’s stop being so entitled. We were on the brink of oblivion not that  long ago, with the two games in hand and a hopeful victory in both we are then just 9 points from the top!
Ok we may have lost without a shot on target on Friday, sometimes these things happen particularly against a well organised side as Ipswich clearly are.
The season and dare I say coming seasons are going to be full of highs and lows, enjoy the ride!

Yeah but the sideways passing possession for possession’s sake was bad wasn’t it.
And don’t even get me started on the square pegs in round holes with Knight at right back. Awful!

listened to Warneys after match comments this morning , this guy knows what hes doing , what he needs and how hes going to put it together , at the moment i think hes only got half of the tools to do the job therefore lets give him and the club a break , by all means lets strive for the play offs this season but its not the be all and end all for me , next season we will start seeing a Paul Warne team take shape, keep the faith COYR

Seems like we spent the better part of a decade playing a possession based passing game. Built out academy based on it. My personal thoughts are it was a huge mistake getting rid of LR. We've gambled in an effort to get promoted to the champ. We've not got the players for it, certainly not athletes that PW wants. There will be lots of Injuries playing this style.
It's more exciting and chaotic this way but the purist in me is screaming. Once the adrenaline wears away, it feels like we've got back 20 years. I do hope I'm wrong though. Very happy to be wrong. Needed evolution, not revolution.

I think we need to take a step back and look at what we have, asking to play a back 4 when 90% of people were screaming for us to recruit a RB in the summer....
    Guess what - we don't have 1....
Play 2 CH's which in this division needs pace which with the 5 on the books only Roberts has, and he's inexperienced and plays the same side as Cashin. By necessity we need 3 to make up for lack of pace in the middle.
Also 4 at the back needs a quality holding midfielder....
Guess what - we don't have 1.... (don't say Bielik)
Then LB... what do we do, play an inexperienced CH in Roberts there or Fozzie  another one 90% slag off continually....
Yeah 4 at the back is the answer.

I also think there are some very short memories,  goal kicks in the 6 yrd box, pointless possession in our own 3rd, we would have been slaughtered last night playing that way, as shown with the goal, 3 players were on that press instantly, hence the rebound was always likely to fall to one of them, we looked ok passing the ball ponderous across the back when we weren't under pressure, and never creates chances as too slow getting forwards.
    Give it chance fgs

No thanks. So happy to see the back of the ponderous tippy tappy sideways crap. Prefer the three young bucks in midfield that play now too.

Bizarre that folks are crying that this is just like the hire fire mel days ,, rosenior was never appointed manager
bizarre that folks are crying why let him bring in players then get rid ,,,,,,, we had next no players and nobody else to bring them in rather than rosenior
I am not in the least surprised he has not got the job permanently, to me we have some very decent players come in who started well and are going backwards ,the last three games have been a shambles , the win on Saturday papers over the cracks and to me it was down to the players determination and quality at this level that pulled us out of the fire , Liam said afterwards that he told the players at halftime to stay patient and keep doing what they were doing ( words to that affect),
we are neither one thing or the other under Liam this season , we Pratt about at the back to allow the opposition to get into shape behind the ball then go direct long ball or long diagonal
if your going direct then do it quick and catch the opposition out ??‍♂️

I hear a lot of talk about anti football but to me knocking the ball around your own half then turning back to your own half constantly, keeping the ball at all cost s at the expense of not scoring is the most anti football you can be

Look at what's happened to other 'big' clubs when they go down to League One. Sheffield Wednesday, Sunderland, Ipswich, Forest etc. The evidence shows clubs like ours generally don't bounce back at the first attempt.
That doesn't mean it shouldn't be the aim but it does mean that Rosenior shouldn't be considered to have 'failed' if we don't do it. A top 10 finish is success given what the club's been through recently.

Robson Kanu has had a year off football, would prefer Cannon every day of the week! Caroll is a different kettle of fish! A real handful for any defenders when fit, would easily get 15+ in league 1

Great limbs at the end there. Should’ve won comfortably, but we weren’t good enough when they went down to 10.
Big few days with the transfer window. We need some reinforcements. No one we could throw on out wide with NML missing today, and we certainly need a striker to take Joan Collins out the firing line, he was pony again.

I watched the Brentford coach talking about going direct against the bigger teams in the premier league and it was very interesting to hear him speak how the ability to mix things up is important.
This is something Liam needs to realise especially in a physical league like league 1. We have the height in Collins, so let’s get the midfield around him every so often, rather than being insistent in playing out every time!

Despite only just getting into Derby's 1st team this season, and playing just a handful of game, he is one of the best defenders in the Championship.
He is not the fastest, but he's strong as an ox, and just watch his positioning because he's very quick to be aware of opponents play.
He's certainly got the strength of Buxton, but there's something alike in Colin Todd when reading the play.
This is one player Derby have to give a huge contract, even if it's only to get a decent transfer fee if he leaves. He will play in the Premiership one day, hopefully with the Rams.

I would welcome Waggy back to the club! He did nothing but put 100% in on the pitch wether playing up top or on the wing. Also has the physicality that is needed in L1. He’s in his last year at Cov so would have to come here and work his arse off!
