The view from my room for the last eleven days. 
 

As a few of you know, I had been working at The Waterfall for quite a while, however, I have decided to open up a pub of my own. 
We've spent the past 10 weeks or so cleaning, redecorating, cleaning again, getting the place ready, to say it has been stressful is a complete understatement, and I'm sure my wife and business partners have been ready for killing me 😂
Anyway I imagine that a few will know the venue, it is Maypole Inn on Brook Street in the West End. 
We have opened up this week, and it would be good to see any of you that fancy a drink, have a chat and it would be nice to put some more faces to user names.

Robert’s is the only one of the loaners would keep if we can. They were mostly very poor and we really need to make better uses of the loan opportunities this coming season. 

The wife and I play a holiday game. 
Spot a celebrity lookalike for a point, two points awarded for a lookalike of a different sex. 
For example, my lad once spotted a woman who looked like Ronnie Wood, so he scored double. 
Certain celebs are banned from the game, it's not hard to spot a Pep Guardiola lookalike, for example.
We were tied on 1-1 going into today, I had a point for Willa from Succession, she equalised with Franz Beckenbauer, when the missus went into meltdown on spotting Danni, claiming a last minute victory. 
Unfortunately, she couldn't claim the point, as it was really was her, not a lookalike. 
She only calmed down when I remarked A place in the Sun obviously had a great make up artist, and she wasn't all that in real life.
Complete lie obviously, she was absolutely stunning.

You say that with confidence, but if he has a Tuesday night appearance in late November at  Exeter, in freezing conditions, or a choice of one hour, close to home, playing keepyuppy with some fifteen year old boys, he might opt for the latter.
