Well we've done our bit we've survived.
I've followed you all season and sincerely hope you join us, especially if you knock the Owls out.
    Best wishes

I think if we don’t beat Southampton it’s realistically over.
Love Cooper and want him in charge next season whatever happens, he does however have to take a lot of the blame for yesterdays collapse. Some of the game management and substitutions haven’t been up to the mark.
Ayew is another one of those dreadful January signings that have sunk our season. I just see what he brings over Surridge who’s always been an excellent player for NFFC.

I’ve enjoyed Forest being in the PL this season. It has been far more interesting looking in on them in the top flight than when they were in the Championship.
They were so boring in the Championship and the rivalry between us in that league has been crap lets be honest.
It’s been a pleasure to see them hammered a few times up there. And struggle now after spending £200m.
But honestly, if they weren’t Derby’s rivals, I’d definitely want them to stay up ahead of Everton, West Ham and Leicester in particular.
The PL needs fresh blood. If Forest and Bournemouth go down, with Burnley and Sheff Utd taking their place it will be bad for the game.
I’m also hoping either Luton or Millwall can make it up there to freshen it up.

I think this reflects most people's thinking, a point I've myself made, but I see no 'adulation and worship'. During Covid, especially the early variants, health workers were asked to take huge risks to their own wellbeing and that of the partners and children they returned to of an evening and were, in my opinion, rightly lauded for doing so. Fast forward to the present and the issues we are seeing with healthcare delivery, working conditions, waiting times for appointments and so on and I would say with some conviction that the vast majority understand the challenges and deficiencies outlined by @Ewe Ram By and large, people are not as stupid as some suppose.
As for the specifics of this thread, @bimmerman has written a post expressing his gratitude for the treatments and professionalism of those NHS staff who provided care for him when he needed it. I see no reason for anyone, a few posts later, to be introducing the notion that 'we' need to stop 'worshipping' the NHS. Folk can pretend otherwise, but it's clear to me what the context of the post was, hence the reaction it received. Being in full support of a system that provides free healthcare to those who need it whether they are rich, poor or anything in between, has nothing to do with blind adulation. That's a construct and not a terribly elegant one at that. The conversation we ought to be having, as you yourself point out, is how do we mend what is broken and who is best placed to do it, this is clear, but trying to find reasons to snidely criticise or alter the thinking of those who support the NHS and it's workforce serves literally no useful purpose other than to illustrate the divides that allowed it to fall into 'disrepair' in the first place.

Well guys I have some good news and bad new but I am in pain. But my big toe is slowly healing but one bit is still broken and they are going to try a injection I hate needles at best of times but If it helps then worth it. But if injection does not work they are going to try fuse my toe togather but would mean having a op but it might mean I could be out for a while.
If all goes well I could be back at work  in April something so fingers crossed.

What I really want to know, what do people see in Def Leppard?  I'm sure they can play their instruments to a high standard but what they play is terrible, at least from when I remember when they became popular back in the day.
Never understood it, but then I never understood the appeal of Meat Loaf either.

Another wonderful 3 points (not pints) away from home.
Enjoying a quiet weekend at home, after last weeks weekender at Bognor Regis for the Rockaway Beach Festival.
When the trains went on strike on the Friday and a simple 1hr 30mins train journey from Gatwick to Bognor turned into a 9 hour bus ride, including 3 buses with a 45 minute break in Portsmouth, with a pub for a pint, that nearly came back to bite me when the young lassie bus driver, driving the local bus on the last leg of our journey (no toilet on the bus) pulled into a bus station with numerous bus stands, and popped into a bus workers office. So I legged it off the bus after crossing my legs for bloody hours, asking the locals, where's the toilet, with the rep!y their isn't one (Great fkn Britain I thought!) so I was faced with 3 options, get back on the bus, try the pub toilets 30 yards across the road, or pee behind the nearest tree, keeping my eye on the bus, knowing the next bus would not arrive fof several hours. Tree it was, felt great, I thought I was covered, zipped up, and saw the bus reversing out the stand. Legged it, banged on the door, girl wouldn't let me back on, stood in front of the bus, yelling my bag is still on the bus, she reckoned I could get her sacked. I screamed which way are you turning at the lights, so I could leg it to the next stop to get back on, the bus moved 10 yards and hit a red light, she still wouldn't let me back on. Bus conductors in the depot, told me to move, she"ll run you over, then she opened the doors of the bus and I got back on and apologised for getting off, what with the train strikes and all. I thought at that moment it's 2023 and a lot of the time we don't even have toilet facilities where they are required in Great Britain, how sad!
But what's even sadder, is when Derby County win away and some fans take the choice of whinging about such, get real.
    Sunday Sonic Boom was brilliant!
    Up The Rams.
And if I could work this blooming kindle I would delete this Early Doors episode below.......but I can't!

Joe is a very very good keeper and was unfortunate to have Keiren Westwood ahead of him when he broke through,  he was trusted in cup games or if KW was absent, his form earned him a u21 call up.
He sadly suffered a bad injury which set him back and did his confidence.
He was kept last season ahead of Dawson who we loaned to Exeter but for reasons known to Darren Moore alone he brought Bailey Peacock Farrell in on loan.
I'm absolutely delighted Joe is thriving, I watched him in a youth cup game years back and rated him.

Season’s dead, until May. We are not good enough to gain ground on two of the top three in the league, nor are we bad enough to slip out of the top six.  We have 5 months to get ourselves primed to play some decent, winning football in our last 3 games during May.
