Simmo’s left foot
Based on results to date the rams are tracking along just below a suggested target of 78 points to achieve 6th place. (Average 6th place in recent seasons in 75 points To achieve this target we need 1.7 points per game, currently we are on 1.61 per game which would give 74 points. So we are finely poised to either move up with some good results over the next few weeks, or fade away back to the "Challenging for the play offs" area of the league. All in all I think we are doing well, and its all to play for, but of course we are only as good as our next result! Now would be a great time to put together a run of wins ?to consolidate a play off position or to even push towards second place form which is 8 points away. Quite an interesting position to be in at this stage of the season.
plymouthram
I think we are getting better every game and that's due to a squad that have only played together this season (barring 5 Players). So we could and should have a better 2nd half of the season. In the next 2 months we only have 5 matches against teams in the top half of the table, compared with Plymouth (8), Ipswich (4), Sheff Weds (7), Barnsley (5) and Bolton (8). We have 6 matches against teams currently in the bottom 7 places, compared with Plymouth (3), Ipswich (5), Sheff Weds (5), Barnsley (4) and Bolton (4). So going into March we could be in 4th position and also gained points ground on the top 3.
i-Ram
Season’s dead, until May. We are not good enough to gain ground on two of the top three in the league, nor are we bad enough to slip out of the top six. We have 5 months to get ourselves primed to play some decent, winning football in our last 3 games during May. ColonelBlimp
