If we are desperate for investment why doesn't every Derby fan invest an extra £500 for nothing in return? We'll be the ones that benefit. It's the safest thing for the future of the club. Or maybe some kind of shareholder model - I think the Green Bay Packers do something similar.

Mr Clowes invested a hell of alot more than that in a third tier club that has been pillaged. Absolutely no one else would. He's the reason I can still take my children to watch the Rams. I'll never forget that, he's got free reign as far as I'm concerned.
We should be concentrating on being sustainable so we're never in that position again. I would like us to only use players from the local area, similar to Athletic Bilbao, that would be something to be really proud of.

I’m with you, he’s a limited footballer but hardly the useless player some make him out to be.
He’s scored 5 goals so far this season (yes 2 were penalties but they still count and he still has to be composed enough to take it and score), puts a shift in when called upon, does occasionally get involved in build up play (he sent Bird away for the pullback to Barkhuizen on the weekend), and does his work in defence too. 
Are there better strikers out there? Yeah for sure. Do I appreciate Collins for doing his job while he’s here? Yep

I don't know why people keep having a go at Collins. He always gives everything when he plays and isn't afraid to shoot.

It seems to me that the points deductions/relegation/business plans are all designed to punish a club who go into administration, and to ensure that club cannot easily bounce back. Its a punishment, and designed to make other clubs/owners take heed.
So I expect us to be close but not quite there again this year, but hopefully able to really challenge next season. It's not an easy league to get out of, and people need to wake up and realise that, take the mediocre football on the chin, support the team, stop the whining and booing.

What is 'second rate' anyway? Perhaps second tier, so 21st best or lower?
In terms of capacity, we're 16th in England, but we're also in a group of 15 with a current capacity ranging from 30k to 35k. This puts is in the 14th to 28th bracket, which incidently is roughly where a club of our size and history would typically rank - we've finished lower than 28th on 37 occasions, with 44 top 13 finishes.
The top 13 capacity stadiums are in London (5), Manchester (2), Liverpool (2), Newcastle, Sunderland, Birmingham (Villa) and Leeds.
The 'chasing pack' are mostly stadiums in smaller cities - Derby, Sheffield (2), Middlesbrough, Coventry, Southampton, Leicester, Wolverhampton, Brighton, Blackburn, Milton Keynes, Nottingham, Stoke, Ipswich (and Birmingham). 
Truth is, there isn't much which sets any of those stadiums apart from the rest on that list. I feel confident in saying we still have a top 20 stadium.
 
If you also want to consider stadiums suitable to host the Euros or a World Cup, the city itself is very important. Derby is one of the smallest cities of those I've listed. It's also in a less desirable location than some which are placed closer to the middle of the city. You also have to consider accommodation, bars, restaurants, etc.
 
Until we're established in the Premier League, our stadium is more than adequate. Once we reach that level, we should improve the facilities rather than capacity. Fan park, bars, restaurants, club museum, etc. Developments to make the stadium more unique.

They were before rhe end of January and they have brought in better players during the transfer window.
