I can't disagree - and it's interesting (although touching on a forbidden topic) but all they are really doing is taking capitalism to a natural conclusion. They have found a way to make more and more $$$ and won't stop because the $$$ is all they care about.
The fact they are destroying society along the way  is just collateral damage
I think more people are getting turned off social media, but not enough of us. A quick look at the comments on Derbyshire Live are enough to make you lose all hope

I used to have a class 2 license, loved driving but no money in it.. That was before speed cameras though. I would not do it now, especially not HGV.

I’m a former HGV driver with 30 year’s experience, no accidents and clean licence. Enjoyed my job but after having a stent put in, in 2009, the hoops the DVLA made me jump through to keep my licence coupled with having to renew my CPC licence (a tax basically, a nonsense piece of legislation that amongst other things proved I knew how to get in and out of my lorry ?) I called it day.
I’m sure I’m not the only one to have left the industry due to the nonsense drivers have to contend with these days. They’ve taken the pleasure out of the job in my opinion, mind you, it was on a slippery slope since cab phones were introduced in the late 80’s, early 90’s.

The media is desperate for stories/clicks/ratings. Every journo I know would sell their own grandma for a story. They know it's wrong but they can't help themselves. They're the people who've caused this and should be ashamed of themselves because it's a lot more serious than not having enough bogroll to go round. Lives could be lost. How do you stop it? How to install a more mature reporting mentality? 
In a way this reminds me of the Double Edged Sword thread in the main DCFC forum. People do stupid things, which we hate and cause problems, but people are social animals rather than rational beings. 

Vegetarian foods disguised as meat products do my head in.  They're bought by veggies who don't want meat, so why pretend they're meat. It's all a marketing lie. 
Vegetarian Express - "THIS Isn't Chicken Pieces" - no you're right, they're soyabean in breadcrumb.  Call them that.
Birdseye "Chicken Free Nuggets" - ah, just what I was looking for - chicken free nuggets. 
M&S Plant Kitchen "No Beef Burger" - and there was me looking for either No Chicken or No Lamb burgers.  I'll have to make do with No Beef ones instead. 
Richmond "Meat Free Sausages" - they're made of soya protein and other veggie bits, so call 'em what they are, vegetarian tubes. They're not sausages.  A sausage is defined as: an item of food in the form of a cylindrical length of minced pork or other meat encased in a skin, typically sold raw to be grilled or fried before eating.

Thing is, like me, I didn’t panic buy from Thursday, fri or Saturday. I went yesterday to fill up ready for working away this week.  
so all the patient buyers now need fuel and are being labelled as panic buying.
 

This is a forum for us Rams fans to vent Malty, so your opinions shouldn’t offend anyone. Personally I think Morris is the worst owner we have ever had and has absolutely no regard for the feelings of the fans, coaching staff, players or employees of DCFC. I think the revelations from Rooney about the lack of communication and perceived lack of contrition for what’s happened from Morris tells you everything you need to know about him as a person, let alone as an owner. 
In my view he has put the club into administration in order to avoid liability for the mess he has created and to preserve his own personal fortune, not because it’s the best thing for the club.

About ten years ago on a cold Friday night going to the pub I saw an attractive lady wearing a short skirt with a lovely pair of pins and my initial reaction was why is she dressed like that it’s Baltic, been downhill ever since.

the guy is speaking from his heart and making some pretty mature sensible and emotional points.

But as manager he has a duty to a lot of people. And Rooney has never hid from responsibility in his career
I imagine he feels that if he is expected to serve the club as a manager then he insists that he's treated as a manager. Not to be treated like the tea lady. 
We know from his high profile career that he is fierce about winning and being successful. He's a 100% guy. 
I can see how he might feel that he hasn't been allowed to do his job the best it could be done. 
A guy who gives 100% insists 100% back from everyone. 
I can definitely see why he's frustrated. This is what happens when people get frustrated. The bite was quite mild really imo
If you assume what Rooney said was true then Mel could have listened to a totally different interview today by inviting Rooney to a meeting and telling the manager of DCFC what he will be managing and how he wishes it to be managed. 
Rooney clearly finds it insulting that he's not even worth that. Like, he's not trying to play at being manager. He's serious about this role

Is it just me who thought his comments were a tad restrained considering the almost complete lack of communication and he even qualified his statements in a few places?
There's been more than a few cases of managers tearing strips of owners in the media for a lot less and doing it whilst they were still in charge.
