YorkshireRam got a reaction from Carl Sagan in Wildsmith
Might have been ''embarrassing'' but it contributed to us keeping a clean sheet at Anfield, can't really argue with the methods when that's the outcome...

YorkshireRam reacted to Ghost of Clough in Jack Stretton - joined Stockport permanently
I'm not saying the opposite. I'm telling you the factual maximum number of minutes you have seen Stretton in the first team.
Is the Beglian 2nd division better than L2? I've never watched football in that league so can only guess at "no".
He isn't too small for a Warne side, as pointed out by others. You're quick to move the goal posts to "Dobbin is faster" and "Ogbene is more experienced".
As I previously stated in a different thread about other academy players, your judgement on youngsters is abysmal and cannot be taken seriously.

The Daily Mail are pro-royal because they're a right wing publication... the fact you don't understand that correlation is just another marker in the tally for pro-royalists being firmly out of touch with reality. I'd love to hear your justification for her using taxpayer money to pay off the victim of her nonce of a son...
I'm not even anti-royal, I just dislike those, like yourself, that endorse through perpetuation the ridiculous hysteria that surrounded her death. Then subsequently painting her posthumously as some morally-flawless individual, when she was far from.

Pathetic ! So a bean counting civil servant at the palace floated a dumb idea to ministers .. translated as “shock horror Queen asks for hand out”. You really have dredged the depths of the Daily Mail Gutter and the One eyed Grauniad with aplomb. Take a bow.

The level of pretentiousness in your pompous drivel is genuinely amusing.
Was she a ''wise head'' when she came out with this howler?

YorkshireRam got a reaction from Ramarena in Conor Hourihane
The midfield balance is way off. Hourihane and Bird are basically the same player- neither can play as a traditional DM. Bird has really frustrated me so far this season, a lot of passing talent but he is so lightweight that opposition players practically glide past him. It looks like Hourihane has been tasked with pulling onto the left flank to provide crosses so when we lose possession, teams can just bypass our entire midfield.
Given we don't have a traditional midfield enforcer/general in our squad, I think we need to move to a midfield 3 with Knight. Jason has more defensive tenacity so can more effectively screen the back 4, but also has the engine to operate as a box to box midfielder when required. Rooney could make the step up also.
We need a bit of steel and determination in midfield, basically, not 2 players who struggle to break up play out of possession...

This entire post is a contradiction. You're ''fed up'' of stats, but still measure Sibley's effectiveness in goals and assists...? ?
I used dribbling statistics to show what he offers outside of G/A. His willingness to turn and drive the team forward and not always play safe is refreshing and needed in the squad at the minute. He's a #10 that's more of a midfielder than a forward and that suits the 4231 formation we often deploy, he just needs a run of games to show what he can do.

Take £200k for Sibley, and get someone in who can influence a game.

YorkshireRam reacted to ariotofmyown in Liam Rosenior
I've just flipped a coin 4 times and got 3 heads. This amply demonstrates that 75% of coin flips will come up heads. Who would have thought it?
Geez, some of the conclusions reached on here after 4 games is genuinely mind-boggling.
Best one was that Liam has used up all the goodwill.

YorkshireRam got a reaction from Chris_Martin in Starting 11 v Oxford
Suppose it depends if we're playing with 2 #4s and a #10, or a #4 and 2 #8s.
McGoldrick and Sibley rotating as the #10 gives us 2 solid players with very different traits.
Bird does need to be in the team somewhere... the fact we're having these discussions already suggests our recruitment so far has been very good. From 3 contracted players to arguing over who's best to start in midfield in the space of a few weeks!

YorkshireRam got a reaction from Crewton in Malcolm Ebiowei
Plange scored a hattrick in pre-season for them, so doubt they think that. More likely, now there's no positive PR to be gained from ''helping'' a club in admin, they want to lowball to try get Malcolm on the cheap...

A lot of people seem to be forgetting we have Thompson and how much of a baller he was at times playing against the best teams in the championship last season.

YorkshireRam got a reaction from Wsm-ram in Kyle Joseph, signed for Oxford.
He's 20 years old and would likely be coming in as backup to Collins... any wonderkid loanee would come with the expectation of starting most games so wouldn't fit our brief.
Why do some people instantly write anyone off that isn't bagging 20 goals a season from u8s?
