Agreed. Such a shame the Morris fallout has had such an impact and at a time too when Festy, Plange and Ebiowei could have played many games and furthered their career had we been able to keep them (or been more attractive to them instead of being a mess).

Oh I realise that. Maybe I rate Thompson higher than others but I felt he didn't look out of place in the Championship for the most part and given the opportunity he could be an important part of our season.

I'm not keen on loaning out either Rooney or Thompson as I think both are good enough to be in the starting XI or on the bench.

Absolute nonsense of a competition. 46 league games plus the FA Cup is enough. 

He's joined the club he has always supported and almost certainly for less money than he would have got elsewhere. Whilst we've lost our player of 22/23 you can only applaud his decision. 
It'll be no different to when Will Hughes turns down more lucrative offers to rejoin us one day.
