rubbish Maguire and Gibson have no say efl are dealing with administrators not Morris now. we need to move on from this paper talk innuendo/clickbait rubbish and get our club sorted and as no one on here knows the full details why keep making things up does it help no. only thing that helps club is getting behind Wayne the team the club feel sorry for trusted hard working staff that lose jobs and look to future . don't whinge and whine about new prospective owners. i look at this way Middlesboro is still an awful place with or without Gibson. and we should applaud Wayne for dipping into his own pocket to help out. 

The EFL will have to bargain with Steve Gibson and Kieran Maguire to make sure whatever the punishment is, its to their satisfaction.

The main problem with Maguire’s ‘I thought Mel was better than that’ is that he’s not listened to what MM said yesterday. Or understood what’s going on

In other words, the anti MM vote on the EFl board is forcing MM to pour money into the club whilst they reduce the value of the club by delaying resolution. 
 
Ok Mel is largely the unlucky author of his own misfortune. But Kieron, you foolish man, it’s not surprising he’s pulled the plug 

I may have missed it as I was a little late switching on and had to make a cuppa halfway through, but was he asked/did he say:
- why he'd chosen Friday (just before an important match) to put us into admin?
- if the new accounts showed we'd breached FFP by £4M in 2017/18 (which he reckoned was a 4 point penalty), why hadn't he snapped the EFL's hand off and moved on asap?
- why he left the players and manager to find out aabout admin via Sky?
- what part MSD will play in admin?
I saw that someone on here claimed it was a good interview - seems to me that the really big questions weren't even asked.....
 

I was sort of hoping we would actually talk about the administration and gain a better understanding of the process to come and some reassurances (that may be hard to believe coming from mel) that the club is going to survive all this. 

so far this conversation is something I’d be happy to hear the ins and outs of in maybe 10 years but right now I want to know what’s going to happen.

Pure conjecture but assuming we had I would say that would add up to a shed load of money for a marginal gain on what we have.

I said exactly the same the other day.  If we had clearly breached such that we warranted a points deduction, then they'd have hit us with it.  The fact they haven't, hints to the fact they're trying it on in my view and MM is calling their bluff, hence the horrendous delay. If we really had broken one of their lovely rules, one that attracted a points deduction, all discussions would already be kiboshed and they're clearly not. 

Bit harsh here pal. I think the OP is just expressing his sentiment and sadness at our current state. I don’t think he has demanded action - but merely expressed his dismay and the need for something to change.
From the outside looking in - most of us surely share this sentiment. Equally, as we are on the outside most of us don’t have sufficient information available to us to begin to know what that right course of action is.
Maybe Mel Is playing the long game and maybe he’ll be proven right and we’ll be ok in the end but right now it’s hurting to see our great club in this horrible horrible place.

What do you suggest he do?
Forget, for a moment, how we got here. How do we move forwards?
Cannot sell a club that nobody wants to buy.
Do we take the EFL points deduction to get them off our backs? Will likely mean relegation.
Go into administration? Calamatous.
Open a honest communication with the fans in which he declares: "we're in the poo poo". That'll attract season ticket sales and potential buyers.
So it's all very good demanding action from Mel .... But what exactly?

On the other hand, it could be the club are bang in the wrong or perhaps Percy is circulating complete tosh. It's not the first time that we have seen such alleged information about this situation from him, all of which has drifted away into oblivion..

We still don’t know what charges the potential deductions even relate to. Are they for failing FFP in the restated accounts, not submitting those accounts on time, the other non-submitted accounts, the HMRC thing, something else?
Honestly, at this stage it wouldn’t surprise me if it’s 0 points because we haven’t failed FFP and -9 tacked on for not failing under aggravating circumstances.

What was the point of having a supporters meeting asking attendees to elicit questions from the fan base safe in the knowledge that the information imparted during that meeting was never going to be able to be shared with the wider supporters?

Sky sports programme today was so anti Derby it was laughable , the two idiots on commentary were bad enough but Prutton was just ridiculous. I bet he sent a video to the corrupt EFL after the game to get Fozzy banned. He may have well of been wearing a Forest shirt . I just hope this EFL/Sky agenda creates a siege mentality spirit . Up the F...ing Rams !!! ????
