200k Wilson, 500k Godden, leaving 1.3m for Brannagan?
I can see Brannigan costing a bit more than that. 2 years left and he’s arguably their best player. Probably looking more at 2m just for him

If we used the Knight money to bring in Wilson, Brannagan & Godden that would be a good deal imo
I think this is pushing it with 2m, however if we can get all 3 ill be very very happy

There is/was a lot of whining & Whinging on both sides.
He felt the need to dish some back. SOME Rams fans couldn’t take it.
I’d call it a draw, and if he was ever man enough to come back and wear The Ram on his chest, he’d get my backing… as do they all. 🐏The problem I have with him signing for is, is whether he would actually give a crap after signing the contract. I doubt it

i’d guess that at the mention of our name he’d just tell his agent ‘no’. Be very surprised if he did otherwise, given the horrible chants he’s been subjected to.
We’re not the only club. He gets it most weeks for the simple reason he bites so easy. He also bites too often which is why he’s a tubby f*cka

In all seriousness (ish), if the club believe for example Brown, who did well yesterday and others will know better than me, will be ready to feature in the squad regularly in a year or 2, it makes sense to have a year or 2 option now, who will likely then move on to be replaced by the youngster
That's one thing Morris correctly said... He never did it, but he did say it
Mel literally pulled the plug just as we started to produce the product he was creating. He was literally about to see the academy shine in the first team in the championship and then make profit on those players when they move on. Unfortunately for him and more importantly us, we sold some fantastically talented youth products for peanuts

Need a poll. Godden\ Sharp/neither
Whole story seems to suggest Godden is second option but in my opinion I’d prefer him.
Not for anything Sharp has done wrong but because he’s younger and more mobile.
My ideal scenario is cov get him and that frees up godden for us

I think we need to win him over.
He had some vile comments from some pond life dcfc fans.

Also, we aren’t the only team that give it him. He also gives it out just as much, he just can’t take it.
silly billy. Wouldn’t want him here anyway -

Not when it’s 100% of your strike force and there’s zero resale value.
Why do you care about rescale value when we are getting them for free? Anyone with resale value younaheb to pay for. Godden, Washington and Collins have the ability to get us out the league.

About balance is it not? We already have 2 strikers at the wrong end of the spectrum. Don’t need 3.
Whilst we are in league 1 with minimal finances available, you need to get what’s available in the market. Peak age players who are of 15-20 goal standard aren’t going to be available and they definitely aren’t going to be available for cheap. For that reason signing 30-31 year olds on a 2 year deal is great business

There is such a long time left in the market. The premier league kids will be doing pre season with the first team before being allowed on loan. This could be the year we can really utilise the loan market again. We need to stop worrying about signings although it is frustrating.

I get your point about £200k not being a great deal of money but, there is also his wages to be factored into our restricted budget. Regarding “the amount of goals he’s scored” as you acknowledge he’s had two very good years (albeit his most recent two seasons) out of a 7 years in leagues 1 or 2.
If he joins us then obviously I hope he has another number of great seasons but, I’m not convinced he’s the new messiah. Granted though, you could say that about any player: past success (or failure) is no guarantee of future success (or failure).
I guess we need to trust in PW and, if we don’t go for him, assume/hope PW isn’t crazy.
I agree, i am not too fussed as long as PW has a trick up his sleeve.
However, you can take wages into account but Alfie May is not going to be one of those players we are needing to worry about wages. We know he can score at this level and in a poor team too. With the better (ish) standard of player around him, he would definitely be useful and an improvement on what we have currently. He doesn't need to be the 'messiah'

Get Bradley in ASAP and stop messing about

Don’t hear things often, but apparently there’s interest in him from Derby but competition from Cardiff and Rotherham.
Cardiff have quite a large bill to pay, Rotherham’s a shooshhole. We need a sonny Derbados
