I was a big fan of Sibs when he first came on the scene and was frustrated initially when Rooney wouldn't select him. However, since Sibs made his debut, we have seen other youngsters come in and make an impact AND IMPROVE. Sibley has not.
I trust Rooney with the youngster's. He has shown that if you are good enough you will play. If Rooney doesn't think Sibley is showing enough then I am happy with him leaving. Some players need to leave in order to focus and improve, and unfortunately I think Sibley is one of them.

Oh course it would. And those signs will be all over the ground. But as long as the club owns the stadium and moves forward, I don’t care

This kid has been amazing, we just need to turn him around and play the other way.
I think hes been doing a brilliant job. He breaks up the play and keeps the ball moving. Hes been one of the keys to our turn in form.

Bristol City getting 9 points deducted would make it interesting, very interesting.arent bristol just within their limit? also by the way the efl go, their points will be taken off in 5 years time.

Musing about this one. It’s got to be right especially as any takeover may face delays. Bielik and Joz don’t count for quite as much except wages .. we owe fees on them. Lawrence could make a lump sum and a dint in the wages bill. It would be sad to lose Joz and Tom with our thin squad but Feste is growing and Ravel can play Toms role, if we can extend his contract, they can fill those gaps .. we just won’t have much cover but we still have an effective 1st choice team. With 2 million banked and say 30 k of the wage bill we will be that much closer to breaking even if things drag.
how the hell are we not breaking even now when we have a handful of players. Not many being on big wages.

I think he really wanted that free kick just outside the area.
Then, no doubt, wouldn’t have celebrated.
he wanted to boot it into the Thames to make sure it didn't go in

And yet you have a picture of a player who cost us millions and did nothing in said “rubbish kit” as your avatar…!?
I actually kind of agree with you, best kits we have had in ages were all the kappa ones.
That’s got absolutely no connection to my view of liking Umbro or not

I cant wait to see the back of umbro. Rubbish kits

Was never going to happen anyway bud. Pipe dreams I'm afraid. Like Kaide Gordon, this is one that got away.
One day we will be stable on and off the pitch and the next Liam delap/kaide Gordon will be coming through and we will be able to keep hold of them

I don’t understand what the point deduction is for if the accounts show we haven’t broken ffp?

I agree with @sage, it would be great to have a song that instantly makes you think of Derby. I actually get this a bit whenever I hear Stop Crying Your Heart Out, but it never became an anthem for us.
All of the bills, have faded away,
Just try not to worry, we'll pay you some day
It may be tomorrow, it may be today

Rooney has had multiple interviews now, where he has been asked the question about walking away. He consistently says no. We have been crying out for stability and loyalty from a manager since Nigel Clough. He arguably has the toughest job of any manager for as long as I can remember supporting Derby (22 years) and despite having a bare minimum squad and having all the problems above him, he continues to show that he cares and wants to do well.
We are starting to see a style of play which is exciting and attacking with the handful players he has.
I think it's about time everyone starts to show respect to him instead of wanting him out. Any other manger would have left us in this mess.
He's sticking with us, we need to stick with him !!

If we can sign players for a fee soon and we are serious about a smart low risk high reward transfer strategy then I would be getting Callum roberts from Notts county

I've thought this. How nice would it be to be Reading. No one likes you, no one hates you, no one cares at all. Peaceful

If we can relax restrictions:
Robbie Brady and Kean Bryan are both still available.

Selling anyone in our current position would be mental.
you say that, but it would actually help out quite a lot of our financial issues. Getting a fee means we can pay some of what we owe and lessen the restrictions we currently have, especially if the fee of 5m which ive seen is genuine. If we can get that (not that im keen for him to go) and then replace him with a free/cheap alternative, it could be what we need right now.

He has talent. He just needs some composure in the final third and we will see the best out of him.

It's not realistic. Mel is probably hiding in the US somewhere and he will have no care in the world to what he has done.
Realistically, it'll be the sale of a few players with knight being on of them as he is probably the most valuable. The tickets sales for the remaining games will probably cover the rest.
