This idea that no red should feature in a Derby kit is pathetic really. Forest have had as an away kit a white top and black shorts. It's not as if we're going to go with a full red and white ensemble.

Last time we had a red kit we played the  best football ever

  2. Clearly not top priority currently, and we may not have players to advertise the shirt....but does anyone know when the new shirt is due to come out ?I know it was already agreed with umbro and was being processed months ago. How come we are always one of the last teams to release the new shirt ?

Just something to try and take my mind of the circus of millionaires and clowns called quantuma.

I know about the odds, and what Nixons said, and that more logical minded people than me know that it wont happen, but what happens after liquidation has entered my mind a few times.

It has also been something I've been very changeable with during these last few months.

During the initial "grief" I tend to think, I'd be done with football. More and more of it turns me off these days. I may be a passive viewer of some games, but there are no stakes.

Then my mind goes to Alfreton Town, live here and have gone to a fair few games as a kid. Heh, probably saw Pickford, and Flint before most did. I like the club, like what Wayne Bradley's done with it (There is a proper local owner) and I hope they have every success they can.

    But.

I was born in Derby, I am a Derbean. I joke that I wish I was born in North London, so I can take my pick, but I wasn't and gladly so. To my mates a common rant back in the day was: "Right that's it I'm supporting Villa", but everyone knew there was no quitting, I am Derby. Always was, and if a Pheonix team rose, it would be a team that is based in my city, so it's my team. I am a "first generation" Derby fan, my family not bothered about football really, I developed the passion myself. That was before I knew about Clough, Taylor, Mackay et al, I chose a Derby with zero history in my eyes (I was 6) can an adult me do no less?

I was born in London, and moved to Derby. Derby made me fall in love with football

  4. Hypothetically speaking, the club goes bust and Derby County no longer exists...what actually happens when restarting?

    - How does a new owner take over us (whatever name we become)?

    - What division would said club start in?

    - where would we play should PP not be feasible?

We have a big fan base which surely the lower leagues wouldn't be able to cope with away from home

  5. The fact he started blocking people for normal non trolling questions and statements has wound me up enough. We've been waiting 2 years for a take over and still waiting. Making excuses whilst the deals not done and then falling silent is a red flag and doesn't fill me with much confidence in him if/when he does take over.

We've already had one bell. we dont need another.

I'd like to see James Wilson back at Derby. He was unlucky when with us before and has dropped down the levels to get game time and find fitness. Played 38 games for Port Vale, only 8 goals - but still one of those players who is too good for league two and has a point to prove.

Johnny Williams also in league two playing for Swindon. Surprised hes only 28.

Both of those suggestions would be on the treatment table more than the pitch. Also 8 in 38 in league 2 doesn't sound the most appealing.

I is my believe he will leave at the end of the season. Tbh who could blame him. He can’t have faith in Q, dislikes MM, keeps pushing for it to be resolved.

After the Sheff Wed game last season I would have liked nothing more for him to leave. After how he has handled himself this season and how he has galvanised the club it will be a sad sad day when he leaves. It could have been so different had Q not been so full of themselves believing they held all the cards when it appears that they weren’t even sat at the table.

Not many managers leave clubs on good terms.

If unfortunately Wayne does leave, he will leave as a hero. Maybe not due to performing a miracle, but for his loyalty and his leadership through a time where thing could not get any worse. Captains of a sinking ship should always be the last to leave. He has been our captain to the best of his ability and he has gained our respect for the rest of his managerial career.

That's because the part timers at the Birmingham match were either treating it as a kids' picnic or sitting there sardonically passing judgement on players they didn't either know the names of or didn't realise how young and inexperienced they are!

I realise we have got to put up with this because the income is so vital.

Hopefully we start off on the front foot and get the crowd behind us in a way that we failed to do against Birmingham. I'm optimistic for this one.

I wouldn't sl*g those off who paid to come and watch us.  We want as many people to come as possible every game. Whether those people sing or not is up to them. That should not stop those who go every week from singing just as loud whether its 22k or 31k.
