Not making it count in all those periods of dominant play recently is why we're here. Today shouldnt have mattered

If we miss the playoffs it won't be down to what has happened today. Games like Fleetwood at home are haunting us, and we haven't been good enough against most of the top 6 teams.

if it was the 96th min in a playoff final and that exact same thing happened to mcgoldrick we would be up in arms that is has not been given
time to drop the victim mentality, it was our own fault and making

Nonsense. We are where we are today at least in part because we make too many mistakes like this and dont take our chances when we have them.
It's not a grand conspiracy.

Well we've done our bit we've survived.
I've followed you all season and sincerely hope you join us, especially if you knock the Owls out.
Best wishes

The inactive Bury FC and the phoenix club Bury AFC are planning to merge and return to Gigg Lane. Good news for a club that's been through an awful lot.

sheeponacid reacted to Steadybreeze in EFL new TV deal
So the season's about 10 months long and there's A THOUSAND EFL games being shown live? I'm as thick as a castle wall but i make that out at 100 games a month live, or 25 games a week, that's over 3 games every day 🤨
Sorry but that's overkill, complete football saturation. How many of our games are going to be 3pm Saturday? not all of us can finish work midweek, get to Derby, get parked up and walk to the ground. Public transport is non existent after a Night match
What about Rams TV, is this the end? will they be able to show games that are live on SKY? What's this going to do for away followings? one of the good things this season has been the quality of away support from so called smaller clubs, they arent going to bother if we're on Sky every few matches. All these numbers are based on if we don't go up, if we do then it's even worse.
Am i being hysterical or is this crap for football in general?

sheeponacid reacted to Tyler Durden in EFL new TV deal
Find it hard to believe but have become even more disenfranchised with football after this announcement.
Didn't think that was possible until read this.
A pittance of money for even more games and the right to meddle even further in kick off times.
Sky have been an absolute abomination for football.

sheeponacid reacted to Andrew3000 in Super- fan Chan-young Lee
Just wanted to celebrate this kid who has introduced himself in the rams around the world section of this forum. Many will know of his super-quick goal clips provided on Twitter, this South Korean lad appeared recently on Rams Review Podcast (where he politely tolerated being called Lee the whole time, which is his surname/family name)
Somewhat bizzarely, he became a passionate Ram since the play-off final against QPR (must be drawn towards injustice and tragedy) and gets up at 3 or 4am to watch matches.
He also writes pieces promoting our club in South Korea. I'm not on Twitter but I'm sure many have welcomed him already. Hopefully we can reach out and help him visit Pride Park one day. I think he will feature more on ramsreview pod so a relationship is developing there. Hope the club are aware too and might assist.

They get left for a bit. More by design than choice. I'm very conscious of bees though and ensure they have plebty of the necessary requirements in terms of wildflowers and winter habitat.

i miss simpler times, when we were fewer and the land bigger. Today it is just over a four hour drive up north to Akureyri, when i was a boy it took 11-13 hours depending on gravel road conditions. You could find beautiful spots and stay there for days without meeting another human being, just birds, flies and fish, if that was on the agenda and perhaps a few sheep in the distance. What, pay to plop down a tent? Never. Farmers or not, this was our land.
Tourists were few and far between, usually French or Germans on bicycles with backpacks. The rest of the world seemed to not even notice that we existed at all. We laughed as we passed them on potholed gravel roads in the rain and shook our heads. What pleasure do these maniacs get out of subjecting themselves to our harsh landscape and weather? Oh but i understand it now, we still had what they had lost.

No offence to the OP, but this argument does my head in.
How many times did people say this when we were in the Championship promotion race? It was said pretty much every season, and yet here we are in League One after missing numerous chances to go up.
Get promoted and worry about everything else afterwards. It’s been 16 years since our last promotion. Nothing is guaranteed.

Like others have mentioned, I really miss whizzing around and getting stuff done in a morning. These days it takes me twice as long, if not more. I miss being pain free!! It's not that I'm in agony, but I hate hobbling down the stairs in the morning when I used to skip down two at a time!! I can do an hour in the garden whereas I used to be able to do a whole morning. I can do 5 hours cleaning in the house but have to take it easier for the next two days. Whereas I used to be able to do a 5 mile walk, 3 is now my limit. My ankles, knees and back are pretty arthritic and they tell me when I have to stop. I'm not that old and the pain makes me feel older than I am!!
I used to arrive into my classroom at 7.30am and leave at 6pm. I wonder now how I ever did it!
As we get older we have to accept what we have lost and celebrate what we still have but it's b****y hard!!! ☹️
This is a message to you young ones!! Value what you have and take good care of your knees!!❤️

We can moan about decisions all we want but the simple fact is this game should have been put to bed in the first half. Nobody to blame for that but ourselves.

So the next general election will be fought between two parties with hardly a fag paper to separate them just throwing out stupid insults and accusations, the tweet saying sunak does not want child sex offenders jailed is as pathetic as boris jibe at starmer over jimmy saville,
ffs is this really the best we can muster in terms of the governing classes , the electorate really need to come out and vote smaller parties in a big way to give these clowns filling the ranks of both main parties a real wake up jolt

Honesty is the key Archie.
Some celebrity socialists don't really want socialism, that was proved by how they all turned against Corbyn. The thought of important things like Health, Transport, Energy, Water etc run for the good of the people rather than pure profit was a tad too far for them.
They are in safe hands with Starmer, he'll make sure nothing changes!
As an aside, I read an article about our Prime Ministers effective tax rate is 22% on his earnings.
Mine is closer to 25%.
Maybe if all multi-millionaires and billionaires paid 25% like me, the country could afford to provide better public services and pump less s*** into our rivers and seas.

He was brilliant in the first game I brought my 2 lads over for. 4-0 v Wimbledon. The boys were ecstatic as Kinky had previously played for our local club, Ajax, and now, aged 28 and 30, are still Rams.

We should be more French.
We've lived through the greatest transferral of wealth in human history, from the early 80's onwards, and barely raised a peep.
Poll tax was probably the only flashpoint in the intervening years.
No longer can one household wage support a family, no more free higher education, no more easily accessible health care system, no more cheap and readily available public transport system, no more housing that the average young person can even dream of renting, never mind owning!
On pretty much every metric, society has gone backwards, yet we pay more and more for the privilege of even existing.
We've never needed a Guy Fawkes more than now.
