Best defence in the league.

That's a good tip, although I reckon the missus could sit in molten lava and still complain it's not quite hot enough.

And yet he gets an absolutely ridiculous amount of stick. Completely baffles me. Football fans don’t deserve good things.
The bloke has given me two of the best summers I’ll probably ever have.

1977 Ram Raider reacted to Ellafella in Paul Warne appointed as Head Coach
Nigel did a terrific job. When he took over we were in grave danger of plummeting through several trap doors. He laid the deep foundations that saw us through and turned us around. He built the Academy. It took him 6 years of very hard graft in all. Let’s not forget this. We owe him big time and let’s face it, the Club dumped him rather unceremoniously. His assembled team/squad were then very competitive for several seasons afterwards & but for Madam Football/Lady Luck would’ve gone to the Prem under Mac.
Credit where credit is due.

NML - beast of a player with pace and trickery. Far too good for this league.

Not in favour of anything red but dark chocolate is by far the better flavour of Bounty.

I'd put the whole of government, every party, every MP in there. I wouldn't watch it, but I would be delighted with the peace it would bring for a couple of weeks.

1977 Ram Raider reacted to cosmic in How good is NML
Didzy revealed in his post match on Radio Derby that he’s always bigging up NML and telling him he’s too good for League One. Have to agree, he’s been excellent in every game. Refreshing to have a proper winger with pace, skill, and end product. Puts in a shift as well.
Player of the season so far, by a country mile.

1977 Ram Raider reacted to May Contain Nuts in How good is NML
POTY so far IMO, even including the RWB stint which is hopefully over forever.
It irked me that he ended up at Sheff Wed's in L1 last season tbh rather than with us in the Championship. Would have made a real difference.
He's certainly not just a powerhouse, could tell that even in pre season.

1977 Ram Raider reacted to Loughborough Ram in How good is NML
I like most on here have watched years of football and seen thousands of players but sometimes you don't appreciate how good a player is until he plays for your team.
Nathaniel Mendez Laing falls into that category for me. I've always considered him a bit of a flighty player who is largely anonymous, a bit lazy but who might get you an occasional goal. Having now watched him for a dozen or so games I think that he is a quality player, with bags of skill, a team ethic and who isn't afraid to work his socks off. I'm surprised how many of our goals he seems to be at the heart of.
In my opinion he is probably our signing of the summer and if we are going to be successful it will be due, in a large part to him.
