TimRam reacted to Wolfie in Rate the last film you saw partie deux
Locke (sky Movies)
Basically it’s 90mins of somebody’s life in real time, driving a car in the dark & mostly on the phone with his boss, colleague, wife & mistress.
Sounds like it should be crap but Tom Hardy is fantastic as the main (only) role, as we watch his life threaten to fall apart.
Never seen such a minimalist film before. Not completely satisfying (no spoilers) but enjoyed this.

100m for 1 player. The Premiership summed up really. Problem is a lot of young people just getting into football want to support the 'winners' and see instant success so it's never ending circle. My nephew said he felt like an "outcast" where football was concerned at school as almost everyone else supported the 'big six' and constantly questioned why he followed Derby.

My interest in football waned many years ago. Hardly ever watch a match if it doesn’t involve Derby. Can’t even get up for England international games anymore. Football has been ruined by money. I wouldn’t support any other team.

Dashcams should installed into all new cars. It would certainly help with insurance and accident investigations and reduce fraudulent insurance claims. The extra cost would be insignificant.

Game should have been won. Threw it away as been said many times here but thought I'd add to it.

So similar to last season. Our ability to throw games away is just mindblowingly incredible.
Game management is poor, defensively we switch off, don't win headers, don't track runs, mess about with the ball, Roos unbelievably casual with the ball. A game we needed to win. Lawrence is Captain?? Talk me through that....how is he leading that team?
Worries me that Rooney will hang around, lose a few games, then throw the towel in having brought in a few players on loan other people wouldn't fancy.

Great match. Nearly turned off when they went 2-0 up! What a turnaround.

It’s august, many people are away on holiday. Attendances are always lower in August

disappointing, not seen that anywhere. Have to say I know quite a few pre covid regulers who seem to have thrown in the towel for a range of reasons, Covid concerns, lost interest in general, fallen out of love with the Rams, poor performances, dislike Rooney, Dislike Morris etc etc
I do feel the Club need a strategy to stop support haemorrhaging further
