I f****** love this man and how he is. Just a bit too lick arse to Liverpool and makes us seem a bit smaller on what we are (were?) and what we can be (will be? Eventually?)
I hope he gets results and stays in the job. If he does a Nigel Clough job at a faster pace we'll be golden.

9 bank holidays + 16 days when starting. Plus +1 day for every year you’ve worked with the company. These days are also used for sick days.
Health insurance:
$75 per month. $25 to see a doctor and $50 to see a specialist. If anything serious happens and you need anything more outside of office visits then you pay the entire amount up to $750. When you hit $750 you pay 20% of everything until you hit $2.5k. Then everything is free. (I had a heart procedure done last year and it cost my insurance $140k!)
$1500 free dental insurance.
$175 for glasses or contacts each year with a free eye test.

The country needs to decide if it's a high tax high benefit economy like Europe or a low tax, low benefit country like the US. Problem is we're a bit of both and that results in low salaries and the problems we're seeing now. 
To give you an idea on salaries, I frequently hire new university leavers in the US for IT support work and they're on $50-55k minimum starting. All this is in a relatively low cost of living states (Indiana, Ohio & Tennessee).... When I left university in UK (Although just under 15 years ago) and I earned just 17k GBP.
