Abu Derby reacted to minesahartington in Fozzy
I think Fozzy, who has taken a lot of stick the past few seasons has really stepped up to the plate in the last few games. Showing how much he cares. Deserves recognition for showing the young uns a real example. Showed his worth today when replacing Stearman.

He shouldn’t have got into that car. He did. It’s his fault. End.

Apparently we still owe £8m for him and another 2 for Jozwiak
Cheers Mel.

We’ll yeah, like I say, listen, yeah, - I’m surprised that he can string a sentence together when stone cold sober.

Abu Derby reacted to sage in What are your favourite non-fiction books/genres ?
I read lots of books on WW2. Usually split into key battles/campaigns. My usual go to authors are Anthony Beevor and James Holland.
They are both forensic in their research, ploughing through soldiers memoirs and military records. They offer little in terms of philosophy or emotions, but faithfully plot out the most important years of the 20th century.

Abu Derby reacted to Day in Allsop/ Marshall
Fair play to Allsop tonight, had a great game, came up big when we needed him ??

Abu Derby reacted to Pearl Ram in Derby County Administration (with the slight possibility of Liquidation still there)
Well I’ve read twenty staff were made redundant on Tuesday or Wednesday. Pearce, who would have been the first out of the door if I had anything to do with it, attended the game last night.
How many people that lost their jobs would have been covered by his salary alone ? Makes me puke how he, partly responsible for this mess get to keep his job but those on the coal face as it were are down the road. But then, that’s always been the case hasn’t it ?

We need to keep fighting to the end of every game regardless of what happens elsewhere. This spirit that the team and management are showing right now will burn on into next season and the one after that whereupon we will grow together and rebuild, stronger than before. I really believe this.
We as fans must keep up the tremendous support for this great football club.

People queuing up to obtain fuel even when there aren’t any shortages.
Pathetic for those that genuinely need it.

Abu Derby reacted to Eddie in To billy sharp from accepted our apologies
Well said, B4. I am sickened by some of our fans who, basically, are as intelligent as a whelk.

Many is the match where I've trundled in, shoulders down, and sat nigh on silent throughout, there out of duty (Think cold winter nights under Young Nigel mainly, but still some over more recent years!).
Right now though, I'm actually buzzing, and even more so after yesterday's gallant effort.
Regardless of how this season ultimately pans out, I truly feel we (Management, players, and fans) have a great opportunity to actually earn some respect within the football community before May.
The seat next to me is usually empty. I'll make enough (positive) noise for two seats, hopefully for the rest of the season!
Bring it on! Let's do this, Derby! ?

Do something about it. Report him, please.
Know several females today who were intimidated by the behaviour of a few of our fans.
Unacceptable.
