    Im actually really buoyant.
what a fantasitic effort from the lads
even with 10 men we made the better chances.

since we went to 3 at the back weve lost once and that was todays gallant effort
give warn a proper pre season and a chance to get some more suitable players in and we’ll be cooking

The team gave it everything they could today but ultimately we all know this season whereabouts we’ve not been good enough.
We should have secured a play off position ahead of today but we didn’t, and everything that could have gone against us today did. Just as a couple of years ago when we needed everything to go for us to stay up and it did. That’s football for you.
No argument with the penalty, though thought it could be a yellow, not red. But the quality up top, when we really needed it, wasn’t there and that’s been the story of the season.
We started the season from a massive disadvantage so well done, good effort, and we’ll give it another go next season.

    I've watched and enjoyed it.
Also enjoyed seeing how many people showing they don't care by constantly saying they don't care while mocking anybody who dare enjoy such a celebration😛

Never a penalty in a million years, players diving and the ref cannot wait to give the decision against us yet again as per so many times this season.
I would stake my mortgage that if this happened down at their end our player would be booked for diving.

Yes the back pass was poor but look at the facts …it was not a foul he went over like he’d been shot …and red card!! Absolute joke

Find it hard to believe but have become even more disenfranchised with football after this announcement.
Didn't think that was possible until read this.
A pittance of money for even more games and the right to meddle even further in kick off times.
Sky have been an absolute abomination for football.

Football is being destroyed, I have NEVER left a game before the final whistle and I’ve been going to watch derby many many years , time was the last ten minutes of games was the best bit more often than not , you know what ? I would rather see us going all out in a blood and thunder finish and losing a goal on the break than this shxt, it’s week in week out and it has to be stopped no matter who is doing it and yes I mean us too , if a player stays down long enough to stop the game then he is off for ten minutes before he can return, that simple rule change ends it , I am sick to death of nail biting exciting games being destroyed , gripe over
great crowd , players gave it all and that’s all I ask for ducking love derby

    Hi all,
Thanks for all the kind words. They are always massively appreciated, and I will pass them on to the team.
Regards the 21s coverage, we’ve been extremely limited by the number of games we can show this season by Premier League scheduling conflicts & home team consent, and unfortunately the RamsTV team is smaller than ever, which all combined has meant it hasn’t been possible to broadcast many fixtures. Hopefully we’ll be able to show more next season.
Happy to answer any questions, as always.

    Cheers!

While we are all in a good mood following the win at Exeter and over the next 2/3 weeks filling this website with our opinions of our next 3 performances, can I take this opportunity to have an early shout out for RAMS TV.
Over the last turbulent couple of years the one thing that has remained a quality constant has been Rams TV, providing us with a professional, objective assessment of our matches (take note Radio Derby). I remember Owen Bradley occasionally commentating on Radio Derby and thought how good and informative he was at the time. He has risen to new heights over the last couple of years and (despite a few dodgy suits) is perfect for Rams TV,  keeping his commentary succinct and to the point. Shaun Barker is the perfect foil and his professional insight is well worth listening to - I can  “see what he was trying to do there” being his catchphrase. Getting Owen to Rams TV a was probably the best decision Mel Morris made during his time in charge!
Obviously, they are the frontmen for a quality team in the background and well done to all the nameless helpers in producing a great service.
So personally, thank you Owen & Shaun for your fantastic work. Hopefully, every one else who appreciates your work will show that by “Loving” this post in a mark of respect, as I know you do read this website.

Eh? The play-off win at Wembley was special, but 2007 put us back several seasons and led to another relegation battle. There was no infrastructure in place. Jewell wasn't just to blame, he is a convenient scapegoat for a number of ills: Davies' rotten buys and a limited budget.
The OP's argument isn't necessarily a popular one, but I think the present owner is the most important person at our club. He's appointed a manager who has a proven record at getting a side out of this division. He's the one setting in place an infrastructure that will hopefully yield results (recruitment). Why can't people have faith in him to play the long game? I remember his recent interview where he said he was pleasantly surprised by our current form with the suggestion that he expected Warne to have us making a concerted challenge next season.
I don't think he will leave & if he does sell us on/other investors come in, he will try to stay in some capacity to oversee things & avoid the last dire situation we found ourselves in.
If we can reach the play-offs, after all the restrictions we have been operating under, it just shows the disparity that exists between clubs in this division in contrast to the Champ'ship, and that promotion ought to happen sooner or later, and within three seasons once we get shot of all the restrictions. Historically it's taken two seasons each time we've found ourselves at this level. We didn't operate under restrictions under Cox's tenure in the old Third.
As for the sides fighting the drop in the Champ'ship, several of the bigger hitters, vis Birmingham, Cardiff, Reading, Huddersfield (two of whom have been in the moneybags PL) are all sides with financial problems/limited budgets akin to our present situation, but one where we are shedding historic debts (agents fees) & starting from a clean slate.
It is frustrating to be in this division, but I am quietly optimistic about the future under this owner. It just won't happen in the present moment, but we are looking upwards because it can't get any worse. We had two or three seasons of instability after Lampard left and now are gradually building.
My heart says promotion now and wants us to finish 6th etc, my head says that I want us to be a sustainable club and to put faith in the owner. He is ultimately the most important person at Derby at the present moment.

No, ordinarily I absolutely agree with the 'get promoted and work out the how aferwards' point of view, but this is different.
I don't trust the EFL to treat us fairly and feel that they will still go out of their way to make it difficult for us if we are in the Championship next season.
If however we stay where we are, we will be able to attract good players to make us competetive in this league, and then if we get promoted the EFL can go f*** themselves the season after because we will be out of their restrictions.

I may be in a minority here, but think the feeling of hatred towards Mel is too much. He gambled, and thought he was too clever for his own good, and for Derby's good, but in reality, his intentions were true and good.
Lionel Pickering left Derby County in administration, and opened the pathway for the Three Amigos to get control of the club. Lionel is held in high regard. But his judgement was poor too.
    Double standards.

I’m still remembering going to Millmoor amongst its terraced streets and the ladies toilets being hard to find, with a big queue at half time and a big fat spider glaring at me. Think it still had a pull chain too.
I don’t want that but I don’t think I want to be smartened up too much either. Football is already being removed from the pastime of ordinary people and turned into a sparkly spectacle

Well it’s our club and unless we cement ourselves in the Prem long term can’t see any further investment in the ground. But it’s our club and I’m not bothered others don’t want to use it.
