Anag Ram reacted to Carl Sagan in Warm-up music
Follow Radio Derby's lead. Let's have the BBC Athletics Theme from the genius that is Keith Mansfield:
It's timeless and different.

DJ Fresh Gravity can’t hold us down
Not a song that you can sing along or clap to and on too loud so any natural atmosphere is drowned out
get rid of that and SBW

Anag Ram got a reaction from Caerphilly Ram in V Plymouth (a) 7th March 20.00
Wildsmith
Rooney. Forsyth. Cashin. Roberts
Knight Smith Hourihane
McGoldrick
Collins Dobbin
What? Collins? I hear you say.
I think in an away game of this magnitude we will need our grafters and we’ll need McGoldrick collecting deep from the midfield. Stick Collins up top to battle with their centre backs and let McGoldrick pick up the pieces. Collins will battle back to help a midfield that’s not aggressive.
Also, Dobbin put over some cracking crosses yesterday and we only really had Didzy in the box. I’m not saying Collins will score them but he’s got a better chance than most.

Could anyone please tell me what the song is that the club mashes so horribly with the piano instrumental Time?
I’m happy that the club embraces all types of music but some just don’t work as a mashup.
Also, what music would you like to hear?
Serious answers only please.

Anag Ram reacted to Ellafella in Derby V Shrewsbury: Player Ratings
1Wildsmith 7 Had Jack in the 1st half; 2 set piece goals he couldn’t be blamed for and 2 good saves when called upon.
34Rooney 7 Looked accomplished and contributed well to first half dominance through passing and crosses; half a mark deducted for needless push to concede the penalty. Went off with cramp.
22 White 6 Came on to provide fresh legs and did so.
3Forsyth 6.5 10 years a Ram. Foz’s fumble led to the free-kick which led to the first goal which changed the course of the game. Fine margins.
6Cashin 7 Regular and reliable as clockwork; the 35 yard diagonal not always accurate, but nobody wins more headers.
15Roberts 8 Motm Wonderful Jack hammer of a goal and full contribution throughout.
12Smith 7.5 Awarded MotM at the game for a sound contribution of ball-winning midfield work.
4Hourihane 7 Teed up Roberts and some notable tracking back and tackling.
18Dobbin 6 Had moments when opportunity knocked but door didn’t open. Unlucky not to win the game with a late header that was smartly saved…or was it a goal chance missed?
23Springett 6 Late fresh legs.
38Knight 6 Great work first half but chased empty space 2nd half.
9Collins 5 One off-target spooned shot after arriving as sub.
7Barkhuizen 6.5 Lively early doors as Rams dominated but waned 2nd half.
Mendez-Laing 5.5 A bit tangle-foot & out of touch as season takes it toll on a major player hitherto. Needs a rest.
10McGoldrick 7 Took his goal well but slightly off touch at times. Missed a clear header early doors.
A game of 2 halves Brian. Dominant Derby had the game won at halftime but failed to finish the job and were then penned back by the set-piece specialist’s 10 minute resurgence. Still could have won with late chances in a final flurry of 10 minutes stoppage time. 2 points dropped. Credit to Shrews for never say die & vocal fans. Another lesson to be learned for this team.

Anag Ram got a reaction from SKRam in V Shrewsbury Town (H) 4th March 15.00
Yes, it was hugely frustrating that we had the game won at half time but let them back into it with some sloppy defending
BUT
Sometimes you have to credit the opposition. A bit like Plymouth earlier in the season they came out with a more aggressive attitude and put us under pressure.
Fozzy and Cashin suddenly looked vulnerable.
We let the game deteriorate into hoofball and they were bigger and stronger.
We played some lovely stuff at times and scored two great goals.
In Dobbin we have one of the most skilful players in the league. Yes we is infuriating at times but he is exciting and we should help him.
Entertaining stuff.

Anag Ram reacted to Sparkle in V Shrewsbury Town (H) 4th March 15.00
I enjoyed the game !
disappointed with the result
a few observations - Rooney did well as did smith until the harsh penalty from where I was - mendiz Lang does very little from the bench this season (start him) Dobbin is that enigma of a player - poor goal conceded from the free kick both the wall and possibly the keeper - two nice goals by us - it’s a point move on
