Allsop has been fine for us so far, coming for a cross and not getting it is a mistake, but it's hardly the biggest howler in the world.
The truth is that whether we play Marshall, Allsop or Roos, they will all make mistakes. They are Championship goalkeepers for a reason. The ones in this league who make the fewest play for England, or would cost a similar amount to our entire squad.
Knight's goal went straight through the Luton's keepers legs, that's another mistake made by a Championship keeper. But it's not picked up on as much, because it's gone in our favour.

Who is to say the appeal may not be being funded by one of the potential buyers?
For Derby to stay in the Championship would be high on a list of priorities for any potential buyer.

I know we all want new and exciting players but by my fag-packet economics we have reduced the wage bill by about 40% over the summer and we look far better than last season (admittedly that's not a massive achievment). Our wage bill is probably for the first time since GSE close to being sustainable in being covered by income.
Given the desire for more players and with nobody willing to fund it, are we all not asking for what Mel has just done i.e. run up debts in a push for improvement?

One has to ask why Mel bought the club 6 years ago in the first place.
I’m absolutely amazed that a so called “business man” couldn’t see that if the gamble to get promotion failed, then he’d lose money.
He can’t be surprised by it.
It needed to be a long term project; it wasn’t and he is bearing the consequences.

Why should Derby County inform the supporters of anything that might be confidential to their negotiations with a buyer or investors, as well as the complex issues with the EFL?
If they were to issue some details of those negotiations, and it was then misconstrued through the social media platforms which many people use to spread rumour and untruth, then all of those matters would collapse into chaos and repercussions.
If I was running any business, from a football club to a corner shop, and I was negotiating a buy-out, or having to deal with an accountancy issue which could end up in a court of law, then I would refuse to tell anyone until the matters were resolved.
The fans do not own the club. The fans do not have any shareholding in the club.
All we are asked to do is to pay for a ticket, be it on a match-to-match basis, or by season ticket, where we get some discount. If we don't like what's going on, we can either grin and bear it (like we're doing at the present), or don't attend and save your money.

'Enormous pressure' is being a neurosurgeon, a midwife delivering babies day on day out, or an ambulance driver arriving at the scene of an accident.
Enormous pressure is not worrying about whether Derby may or may not sign anyone ahead of the first game of the season or how to tell people what was said in a meeting.
People need to get a grip on reality.
Derby have been in various messes before and come through them...fortunately they were pre twitter and fan entitlement or there would have been armageddon.

I think you'll find that Mel owns the club and we are just supporters who may pay for the right to go to games.
    That's it.

So how will Morris being out of the club change that?
What negativity is coming out of the club? The only negativity I can see is coming from the fans.
PS - forgot to say, all the best for the impending birth ?

We really are in a perilous state and I’ll be very interested in @David’s write up. Many thanks for going, David, and you don’t deserve any of the abuse you’re apparently getting.
I love this club. I loved it before Mel and I’ll love it once he’s gone. Same with Rooney. As long as there’s still a club to support, I’ll support it. I think the same applies to all reasonable Rams fans.

Born and bred in Perth Western Australia (1959), and have lived there all my life apart from a 3 year stint in Sydney during the mid 80's.
Started following Derby during the glory years of Brian Clough and was a huge fan of Charlie George and Frannie Lee. Have remained a fan ever since.
Only ever attended one game with my wife and that was against QPR away on a wet cold night with Shaun Barker scoring our equalizer.
We both still speak very fondly of the total football experience of going to and from the game on the train and chatting with so many people on the way to the ground and then to the same people on the way home.
