England Ram reacted to RoyMac5 in Curtis Davies - signed 1-year deal
A good revealing interview with Curtis
"And I had to go against medical advice to do it, but it was something I was happy to do for my team, for my teammates and the club.
You know the thought of people losing their jobs and things like that if there had been relegation, I couldn’t have that on my back so I wanted to do what I could to help."

Had the same problem @Sparkle and followed @England Ram's advice - dragged the eticket from Derby's email into Word and then printed from Word - the QR code came up fine (without altering the printer settings). Can't tell you why it worked but it did!

England Ram got a reaction from Ken Tram in Tickets for Huddersfield Match
It is a setting on your laptop or printer.
It happened to mine a while ago.
I updated the print driver and also your pdf software and that should sort it.
If not, try and copy the pdf into a word doc as a picture and see if that helps.

Winning is a habit. Clean sheets another habit. I'll take both, friendly or not!

Thanks for the suggestion.
I have sorted it, I was trying to do it on my works laptop and for some reason it wouldnt load the ticket bit, obviously a pop up blocker, I've tried it on my phone and secured my seat.
As others have said, very easy to do!!

Not to be 'that guy', but have you made sure you are logged in? Sometimes it logs you out and it looks normal but you are browsing as a guest?

England Ram got a reaction from jimtastic56 in Current Expectations for the Upcoming Season
Currently ………15th-20th absolutely shambolic situation we find ourselves in and will be lucky to escape relegation again.
As per the poll, ask me again if we have anyone to actually take us over, any decent signings, a managerial team that gets any quality out of the squad and a large slice of luck if the young players step up.

England Ram reacted to Day in This is what we’re up against
Didn’t take long.
But this is more than just Derby. I can point you towards more than a dozen topics that are sticking the boot into the club where you could have a whale of a time.
Can even find a couple where AFC Derby and full on liquidation scenarios for doomsday.
Regardless of where we finished, who’s in charge it’s wrong, we should be able to call that out without attacking our own club yet again.
The prize money on offer in the Premier League is obscene, the numbers are more nauseating when you consider grounds have been empty for over a year in 3 leagues, 3 leagues which unlike the Premier League ticket revenue accounts for a large percentage of the clubs yearly revenue.
But yeah, let’s ignore that to complain about Rooney again because that’s the biggest issue the Football League is facing right now.

£125m for being the worst team in the league.
Just let that sink in.
One hundred and twenty five million pounds for being crap.
That’s 3 clubs coming down with a total of £381m, but that’s not all, the Premier League will also give them parachute payments to soften the blow.
Sorry to start another topic on this, but it’s a topic that needs to be repeated, football is broken. It’s broken and they are doing nothing about it. Why?
We have to try and compete with those 3 next year, with barely any revenue we have to compete against clubs with over £100m in their back pockets.
What hope do we have?
Yes I know money doesn’t always = success, Brentford beat Bournemouth, made it to Wembley but how many years have they been trying to get there?
Whoever goes up it’s a major achievement, getting past the parachute payment clubs, it’s huge, one season up there and they have banked over £100m, it’s madness.
We can never have a completely level playing field, I understand that, but the PL and EFL could come together and distribute that money out more fairly.
Why are they not?
Why are these questions not being asked?
Do we need to see more clubs liquidated, more clubs going bankrupt trying to compete from the Championship to League 2, all the national media journalists will be all over that, justice for Bury, why not call it out now?
Heads are so far up the Premier League’s backside the Football League barely gets a mention.
I’m ranting I know, but £125m for being crap.
Who signs off on that and thinks it’s good for football?
It’s broken, football is broken.

England Ram got a reaction from Van der MoodHoover in No news
I thought the embargo is due to the late filing of accounts which is the standard soft punishment for all clubs late with filing.
Now, the reason behind the late filing might be the appeal process that took a ridiculous period of time due to Gibson and the EFL prolonging it, but they wouldn’t let those facts worry them with the embargo.

England Ram reacted to Day in Rams Trust: A Letter to the Club
Full transparency. I was invited to this meeting, but chose not to put my name or the forums to this.
Reason being as I have previously stated, this forum is a platform for fans views, I am not an elected chairman/spokesman to speak on behalf of you all, simply the creator of this platform for fans views which can already be openly seen by the club.
I did not feel comfortable signing on behalf of the forum without consulting you all, and felt my name without attaching dcfcfans.uk held no weight.
My own personal views are that this letter has been created out of concern for the clubs future and regardless of how you feel towards any of the groups that have signed off on it, do not see this as an opportunity to attack supporters groups for speaking on behalf of Derby County fans.
We all love this club. ?

England Ram reacted to RadioactiveWaste in EFL appeal
My reading of the 2 staements (EFL vs DCFC) based on zero knowledge of the actually facts:
The EFL needed a win for it's own credibility as much as anything else and are being pretty triumphalist about it.
DCFC also needed a win to get out of the poo.
The result is actually somewhere in between. It's a qualified win for the EFL, but given the orginal panel's pretty scathing verdict of the EFL's case, I don't think they will be inclined to go all guns blazing at us, especially as the part that the appeal overturned was one the original panel were detailed in why they found in our favor.
It's a win for the EFL, but not the big one they want everyone to believe. There's going to be some consiquences for DCFC, but yet to see what. Almost certainly won't be applied this season.

Seriously where is all this talk of a points deduction come from?
Isnt the only thing being levelled at the club that they did not use the correct wording to explain the accounting policy used for amortisation?
