I have one question for the "HMRC should get all their money" crew, where you you when Leeds paid them 8 pence in the pound? If they can't show me some outrage I'm ignoring them.

That used to be my response on Twitter when Leeds fans piled on, remind them that they were in the same position not so long ago. Master Bates put them into administration and regained control at 8p in the pound, wiping £30million of debt, he initially tried to get away with a penny in the pound.

    Short memories that lot.

    EH????

The rambling weirdo does not making any sense.

I have had enough of it, anybody would think that no other club had ever been in administration.  Leeds, Leicester, Portsmouth, Ipswich, Coventry, Southampton, Crystal Palace, Bolton, Wigan and more have all been there, don’t remember the same animosity for those clubs.

Notts Trees fans should be careful, nobody knows what’s round the corner, we didn’t.

  3. Just want to say that this has been an absolute nightmare for all of us, I am down in Ipswich watching this unfold daily.  Wasting time looking at rehashed stories on the DET app and website, feeling optimistic at times and then beyond depressed by it all at other times.

There is another chink of light in the seemingly imminent AA takeover, would be great to see it go through ahead of the fixture release, spare the drama and what if's for all of us.

If he does take it on it just goes to show what an absolute armhole Ashley has been throughout the whole process.

Wanting us at price Q could never entertain, knowing this and then trying to destabilise the whole process with leaks and stories to the papers about being ignored by Q.

Feels like AA has got on with it no big stories to the press or messiah delusions to social media, long may that continue, a period of stable and steady re-building is required.  Lets not got flash with the cash again, until we have it to spend, no more Butterfields but a few more Brysons please.

Just fingers crossed it gets over the line this time.

  4. Looking back at Dan Roans attempt at an interview with CK last Monday the body language and demeanour just look like somebody who knew he was not going to complete a deal.  He said  “It will all come out soon” when walking away from Roan, was he definitely out then?  Has the last week seen him waiting to get his money to Q to seal the deal or battling with them to to withdraw his bid and claw some cash back?

Where is Gary Cook in all this, surprisingly quiet all the way along.  He owes CK nothing, has seemingly been messed around too, let’s hear what went on.

  5. Future is starting to look a lot brighter, great that we can soon start to think about new kits and new signings and not the very existence of the club.
Thank you for that CK.  Out of the whole episode you have to wonder how Q let CK walk away before Xmas.  We should have been at this point back in December, possibly still in the championship.  However this is where we are, thanks for coming in CK.

The admins aren't communicating with MA, this isn't the first time it's been reported.

Dorsett, Nixon and Percy etc said this since the turn of the year .

So, Why aren't the admins having contact with Ashley's camp? What's the reluctance behind that..?

It's the admins duty to talk to an interested party and Mike Ashley is in my opinion, a genuine interest to purchasing the club.

If that keen to buy he would surely have got out and been more forceful and publicly stated his position, however to do that would have limited his chances of rinsing the creditors.

waiting and screwing the price down hits the creditors and possibly loses players and staff who don’t want to wait around.

However it is a sure fire dereliction of duty by admins if his is a decent bid.

Genuinely have  no idea why people are against Mike Ashley taking us over.

Because he isn't bowing down to the admins , Morris demands and throwing money at other people's debt?

Only against him because he is risking the future of the club by dragging things out to get a good deal for himself.  Players are leaving in days.  Need it sorting before we lose them and the manager.
