When I were just a lad we'd be in the ground from 1, hoarse by 2 yet still outsinging the oppo fans at 10 to 5.

By game management, I presume you mean "teams that nick a goal (and some who try to go for the 0-0 from the off) and then take an age to take a throw/corner/free kick/goal kick etc. When any of the above are for us, they intercept the ball and stop us taking the restart quickly, stand 1 foot away from the ball to stop a quick restart, fall down as if poleaxed if a Derby player looks at them too hard etc.
I refer to it as 5hithousery. Unsporting behaviour that should get a yellow every time they do it. It would mean we end up seeing more football and less time where the ball isn't in play.
Aint gonna happen, I realise that.....

Because you appear to be intimating that a testimonial is a one off game and nothing more. It os more than a one off game.

Deservedly 2 up at HT. 2nd half, they edged it, however, not heard PWs reaction yet but I think "disappointed" will be mild compared to what he actually says. Fozzy, on his 10th anniversary, didn't need to make the foul. Rooney idem ditto for the push for the penalty. I have no issue with either decision but both actions were totally unnecessary. Two points thrown away. We managed 18 shots, 4 on target. Their stats are 6 and 5.

Apart from the push for the penalty, I thought Rooney didn't play badly. Also thought Smith wasn't that good in what is his normal role. White coming on was no surprise and having to make way for Smith was probably the price Roo made for the penalty push.

Bolton drew at Morecambe, Wycombe could only draw at home to Exeter, Barnsley drew at Brizzle. We got away with this unnecessary dropping of points.

With regard to the thoughts on our record against top/bottom half teams. It's the reverse of the trend in recent seasons where we often did well against the better teams and struggled against bottom half sides.

We did hospitality at Barnsley as it was sold out and we'd already booked flights, hotel etc. Only way we could get tickets. £72 each. No welcome drink. You're supposed to pay for the food as well. They forgot to charge us for the food ?   Good day out. 4 of us and 2 DCFC couples in there including @Wistaston Ram and his good lady. The locals were welcoming and the staff were excellent. The result apart we had a good day out.
We're doing FGR as well. Hospitality isn't cheap but it is a good day out. Perfect a couple of times a season.

That's easy, we'd be down in Tier 11.
If Reading do only get the 6 suspended points deducted, they'd still be 7 points clear of relegation.

I'm sure that will be a number of decent players in the 24-29 age group who are not renewing their contracts this season because they feel that they will be able to do better elsewhere. Even with our current business plan, the wages that we can offer will match or better the rest of league 1 and probably half the championship. Add to that the attraction of playing at PP in front of nearly 30k and training at our excellent training ground, I would expect PW to be able to find at least 3 or 4 players in this age group, who would be a step up on what the current players offer him and his style of play.
Hopefully, the restrictions will be relaxed slightly and this will improve our choice of player.?

I've said it before and I'll probably say it again.. there's no problem with VAR. The is, however, a huge issue with how it's been implemented. According to FIFA, it's allowed in 4 areas of the game, namely, goals and the violations that precede them, red cards, penalties, and mistaken identity when awarding a card. It's designed to correct CLEAR AND OBVIOUS errors. Taking 4 minutes to come to the conclusion that the striker's little toe is 3 mm offside isn't a clear and obvious mistake. IMO, if it takes more than 30 seconds, then any error on the part of the officials is neither clear nor obvious and the original decision should stand. Do that and, again IMO, the issues people see with VAR would be greatly reduced.

4-1 flattered them IMO. We gifted them 3 of their 4 goals by some rank bad defending. We had as many shots as they did, 10. We had as many on target as they did, 5. We also had 60% possession but that's a stat that doesn't really say much.
Whoever is leading the line needs to jump for high balls. One hardly ever competes for them and the other should do it more often IMO. That's my one criticism of the two players we play up top. The rest of their game is fine.

Now I know you're not being serious. A local Cllr wouldn't approach the individual ?
When mine (Dutch born and bred) were young, they were told "what happens at football, stays at football. If there's a word you don't know/understand, it's best not to repeat it". They did enquire as to certain hand gestures though...
These days, the Dutch are experts at Anglo Saxon deletive expletives. I hear more phuks a day here than I do when I'm back in the UK and that includes the pub and the ground. It's use is commonplace to the point where it's not even considered "wrong". TV talk shows are full of the word. Kids on the street. Women use it. It's the most commonly used word in the Dutch language. Has been for a while. Even when I was teaching, kids heard it in films and in songs and on TV..... so they used it in class as well. I explained to them that it's a swear word and if they use it in a Dutch sentence to replace a Dutch swear word then they are still swearing. It didn't help until one day I decided to get inventive and do a literal translation should the opportunity arise where one might say "WTF". It arose so I bellowed out "wat de neuk". The silence was deafening. Eventually one kid asked what I meant. I explained I had simply translated the words and asked if they now  understood how silly the words, used in that context, are. They did.... unfortunately it didn't reduce the use of WTF and variations very much..... until parents evening where I asked the parents what they would think if I swore frequently in Dutch in the lessons. Oh no, you can't swear in front of the kids.... OK, so is it OK of they swear in English during lessons.... the parents got it and the use of AS deletive expletives was greatly reduced.
Where do kids hear swearing first? If it's not in the home it's from friends at school. Effing and Jeffing at football is, IMO, not a kid's first introduction to swearing, not by a long chalk.
