It's Friday and I'm lazy. Is the following correct?
* PP has been sold to Mr Clowes and we no longer risk being homeless
* Mr Clowes' bid to takeover the club is highly likely to succeed
* We will be able to sign players and offer contracts to our current players before they all go elsewhere
Clowes has also loaned money in the interim to make sure the club can continue to operate/ fulfil fixtures etc

Something must be happening for games to be announced... Mustn't it?

Exactly my point, you would have thought that Chelsea is the tricky one given the size
Amount of funds being sent around isn't what makes it tricky. Chelsea (issues with their former owner aside) is pretty much a one to one transaction. They aren't in admin, so no funds need to be divvied up, or creditors appeased, or tax men paid...

This doesn't take into account the changing capacity of the BBG. I know it dropped to 18000ish at some point.
Think it may even have been down to under 18k when it closed
:edit: Just checked, was actually 18.3k
:edit 2: Or maybe not:
"After the Taylor Report was published, the stadium was slowly converted to become all-seater from terracing. Consequently, its capacity dropped to 17,451 in the 1995–96 season" -

Because he (or his representatives) told Sky Sports News this week that he was still very interested in buying the club (also reported in other media outlets). Why would he bother if the club was on the verge of being bought?
If he is 'very interested' in buying the club, why hasn't he made an offer that would be more suitable to the creditors?

Brilliant!!
For the youngsters.... Whenever a manager lost his job, Alan Curbishley would always be listed as an outsider. But I don't think he ever got another job after leaving Charlton.
Wasn't he at West Ham for a bit..?

1) The council likely couldn't announce/ confirm plans relating to the stadium purchase at the moment due to the local elections.
2) Kirchner has retweeted the EFL statement, and liked BBC Sport Derby's tweet regarding it. Not sure he'd do that if he wasn't still expecting things to progress/ seeing the statement as a 'positive'.- 1977 Ram Raider, r_wilcockson, DCFC1388 and 1 other

Sure that we put ourselves forward for safe standing - before all the unpleasantness...

my biggest disappointment this season,is,despite rooney being a record breaking striker,we have been so toothless and slow up front, even without a striker,i hoped he would find a way for us to be more potent
With what?
CKR's injury was massive. Left us without a senior striker. Even just as another option for us, or as an out ball. And as a character/leader as well.

Thought Thompson was great today. Let’s get as many fans into PP for the final home games
Won't be there next week (massive game for Belper Town), but will hopefully be there for Cardiff ?
They deserve a decent send off. -
What fee would we have got? Also maybe he thought/ hoped things would change. Maybe no actual offers were made? Maybe it wasn't impacting on him until the last few weeks. I don't think that any should get on the back of anyone who played their part this season - ultimately it isn't their fault that Derby have been relegated.

Ebosele was left out of the squad for lack of commitment...
That is bad by Festy after telling us all he loves Derby and does not want to leave
Saying that, it's kind of understandable - and it may not have been consciously - and it's surprising it's taken until now.
