Stive Pesley
I saw the picture of him that his wife posted on twitter the other day. Poor guy looks like he doesn't have long left 😢 Might be worth a fiver on Fairytale of New York as the Xmas #

Can it stop forest fans sausage rolls from getting a 5th number one on the trot? Stive Pesley

Premier ram
God rest his soul, a hard living, hard drinking legend of a man , hopefully Fairytale of New York will be Xmas number 1 , a fitting tribute for a very talented artist, RIP Shane Miggins, Stive Pesley, Ram-Alf and 1 other 3
BaaLocks
As a songwriter, pure and simple, I'd argue he's up there with Paul Simon, John Lennon and Bob Marley as someone who has a pantheon of songs that will be sung long after anyone reading this will have passed also. As a person he was a bit of an enigma, much about him was quite unlikeable but that is somehow the curse of the genius and the joy he has brought to so many was his gift. "Sad to say I must be on my way So buy me beer and whiskey 'cause I'm going far away (far away) I'd like to think of me returning when I can To the greatest little boozer and to Sally MacLennane" Rev
