Does that mean they are poor?  Just asking for a friend....

Why ask for a friend? Ask for yourself and then we can get your opinion on his signings.

Vickers - Not seen enough of but well when he's come in

Ward - Looked decent pre season/start of season. Injured since

Nyambe - Excellent value for money

Wilson - Looks decent

Nelson - Slow start, looks solid now

Bradley - Poor start, not seen enough of since but looks error prone

Elder - Injured, not seen enough of

Waghorn - In and out. Ok for this level.

Washington - Not seen enough of but doesn't look like he will pull up any trees

John Jules - Injured, not seen enough of

There's my assessment. Your turn

What an earth is he wearing in general, he’s a football manager not a PE teacher although I am questioning that myself

It's easy to over analyse everything when we are doing poorly and I'm as guilty of the next person of doing that.

It seemed to me symbolic of how he is feeling at the moment with the stick he is getting and lack of answers, retreating into his shell with a cap on and hood up so we can just about see his face.

It was humour....

I agree with most of what you say.

Wash and Bradley are woeful in my opinion.  I think you can expect errors at this level though.

The problem is the style of the football.  Stevie Mac would do something with his squad, deffo missing a decent striker, not sure why that was not addressed though, don't hit the onion bag, you don't win games, its simple...

What about Fornah? Unsure why, if we did have a soft underbelly yesterday, he didn’t give this lad some minutes? It was his one and only midfield signing.

The soft underbelly has been part of the general character for yonks and is a persistant problem, however, the flip side is the general character of wanting to play football on the deck.

Whenever we get serious about the soft underbelly what happens in a bonfire of all things we like about our team. and usually we still have the weakenss because we just don't want to be a thug team and we're not cut out to be stoke.

Oops, knew I had missed one out.

And great point. Watching Hourihane in the middle of the park just booting the ball in the direction is infuriating when Fornah is sat on the bench.

I'm not sure you can call Waghorn his signing. Yes technically it's under his tenure but he was openly candid how he stubbornly didn't rate him whatsoever and if it wasn't for his idiotic stubbornness which led to a lack of numbers up front during preseason. We can only thank Forsyth for that. I'd love to know a list of players Mark Thomas or the newly formed scouting team have recommended and he rejected over this summer.

What are your thoughts on why players who are no better than what we have have been signed, or on why so many have got injured?

I have only seen the highlights so really in no position to comment, but I think the soft underbelly comment more likely further deflection by Warne (but accept I am well beyond the point of giving him the benefit of the doubt). He and Barker have a method of play. One method. I don’t think it is how a number of our players want to play, or are suited to play. Fornah is apparently much more of a scrapper, second ball, type of player. Why therefore is he not giving him more minutes?

Well he has signed a real mish-mash of players. No surprise he doesn't play them.

Any chance of a link to where he said this?

When we tried to play through the middle yesterday we constantly lost the ball or got bullied off it, it was mentioned on the commentary on several occasions.

Did he?

He signed players to play his favoured 3 at the back.

Not sure why you think that is a mish mash?

Do you think he should be playing injùred players then?

Oh yes his favoured 3 at the back, we saw that earlier in the season and at times like yesterday's second half. 😄

Well did he sign players to play that system or did he sign a 'mish mash'?

Also you didn't answer on whether you want him playing injured players or not?

Warne said, via BBC Sport Derby presenter Dominic Dietrich: “His agent reached out to me in early window, I didn’t want to sign him. That’s the honest truth, however, when he came in for Fozzy’s testimonial I really liked him. I’m really glad he’s joined the party.”

What? The system as he plays it is a mish mash. 😄 All the players were fit yesterday bar Waggy.
