There’s been no talk about whether during the negotiations with Brighton personal terms were agreed with Cashin. If they were then his head will be all over the place thinking about the cash (excuse the pun) he’s missing out on. Irrespective, what people tend to forget is that in situations like this the players have to agree to the move- they must want it- as they have a contract with the Club. So, suggests for things to get as far as they did that Cash fancied the move. Not that anyone could blame him. However, another reason for his head not to be in the right place today and possibly for a while (?).

It does seem that Brighton dragged their feet whilst knowing our conditions of sale for a significant period. I would hope any of Cashin’s ire - if there is any - is directed their way, rather than ours. Best for us and him that he’s not exposed today.

Not there today 😞

what formation are we playing?

Think it’s the same asymmetrical 4-3-3 from the last couple of games. Back 4 of Rooney, Nelson, Forsyth and Elder which becomes a 3 when Elder pushes up on the left. Midfield 3 is Smith, Hourihane and Fornah, with Fornah in the more advanced position so far.
