32 year old Danny Rose? Who hasn't played for a year and on last look was overweight?

Be a good signing the type of player we want but no let's build for the future! We need younger players

He's not played football since playing 8 games for Watford in 2022.

Nobody in the last year has touched him.

Also not fit and not played in a long time! I wouldn't be disappointed if we signed him, be a good signing but also with not playing in so long quote easily pick up injuries and is at the back end of his career

Gylfi Sigurðsson is without a club.  Charge was dismissed but has not played football for two years.  Has had offers from Qatar and that area, his boyhood local club even trying their luck, but no decision so far.  He has kept in shape, or so goes the word.

Maybe Derby would be a draw for him, a good club in a competitive league, low wages to what he's used to but playing football again.

If this is a genuine suggestion it might be the most mental thing I've seen in this thread

Finding a club shouldn’t be a problem. Finding a new babysitter might be more difficult.

It's not so mental though.  Gylfi will be 34 in September, hasn't kicked a ball in ages, thinking of retiring, knows he will be a star focus any team he joins, the Premiership is a no go, Championship tough to start again in.  League 1 is about his level atm.  Has one to two decent years left in him, then end up doing a season with his local team and call it quits.

Not sure I’m on board with us signing a guy that sends dodgy texts to his 15 year old babysitter. Read somewhere that he’s retired anyway.

Shows how eager we all are for signings! Fingers crossed for a triple announcement today!

Think you’ll find the Monk is already the main star for Mean Machine.
