There was a passage of play a few mins back where we passed the ball back from midfield and across the back line, it was exactly the right time to do it as it kept the ball away from Plymouth for a bit, got them chasing shadows and frustrated them, we’ve not really done it since. More of that just to take the sting out and manage the game better is what we need, but not to the levels of doing it constantly and purely for the sake of it. Would like to see us put the Virgil van Dijk wannabe at the back under a bit more pressure. Just hope we can keep up this tempo and not come out lacklustre in the 2nd half like last Saturday. We need to be better with the ball though, first touch and passing is way off where it needs to be to get this over the line. My only concern for the second half is the openness of the midfield, White needs to pick up the runners much better and Knight and Hourihane need to keep the shape.
