It wasn’t a penalty, it was given, they scored. That’s not the reason for the loss. An inability to kill off the game or adapt to a change of style was what lost the game. 

Be sensible. No one ever has ever been “outraged” when a penalty has been awarded in their teams favour.

That's the best description of what actually happened. To make matters worse, if there was a bigger contact the player would have gone down quicker putting his arms forward to break his fall. This player put his arm up and turned away from White and fell gently on his backside to cushion is fall.
