Morgan Whittaker with 7 goals and 5 assists in 17 league games ?

Well he didn't show it for us and you can't say he didn't get the opportunity. But with time its clear he has improved. Also worth mentioning that this is league one not the championship

Interesting, or not, trivia about the current League One table.

7 of the current top 9 have played in the PL in the past 25 years (Plymouth and Posh exceptions)

8 of the current top 9 have played in the Championship in the past 10 years (Plymouth exception, last played in 2005)

7 of the current top 9 have a stadium capacity of more than 20,000 (Plymouth and Posh exceptions with 19,500 and 15,000 respectively)

Now onto the 15 clubs below them

Not 1 has played in the PL since its reform

Only 3 have played in the Championship in the last 20 years (Wycombe, MK Dons and Burton - all were relegated within 2 years)

Only 1 club has a stadium capacity of more than 13,000 (MK Dons)

League One really is a league of two

Really? 772 minutes of first team football with only 476 minutes in the league. 14 games where he was brought on as a sub with less than 10 minutes still to play.

1 goal contribution every 238 minutes for us in the Championship.

Income from attendances is vital at this level so bigger fanbase, more chance of success holds true.

Great stats!

Interesting to note that most if not all of the teams that have visited PP, have brought their biggest following of the season, sometimes double or triple their average. It proves what we have known all along, that their visit to PP is their big day out and with that extra support and effort, makes life a little bit more difficult for us.

I'm sure there is an element of this... but when our capacity for away fans is over half of the total capacity for some of the teams in the league, that helps ?
