Louis Watson, what a player. But not as good as that Louie fella, what a creature.

Thought Eric Steele summed him up well, at times it was a little slow and his passes lacked snapness.

Second half stepped up because the whole team stepped up and was a yard further up the pitch. He actually benefited from Morrison going deep.

Early days - crowd got on his back a couple of times in the first half for Cocu ball play but lovely to see him step up for penalty number five.

I thought his passes were the snappiest of all our players? @B4ev6is what’s steel talking about?

Couldn't quite work out where he was playing. Seemed to play largely behind Williams in the first half and largely behind Ebosele in the second. Almost like a playmaking fullback rather than a 'proper' midfielder.

Great performance, didn't understand why people seemed to think he was playing badly on the match thread.

We tried too hard at times to fall into a set piece. It was almost like ice hockey for those who understand the game. Start with the puck behind the goal and run a set play.

For Derby its start at the back or reset it, and eventually work it to one of the deep lying mids who takes the spot of the full back who has pushed forward. The opposition doesn’t know which player follows.

Forst half especially this was too pedestrian like. Second half, Morrison dropped deep and the centre backs spread. This allowed full backs further up and allowed Watson to be further up.

Like a lot of the team, really struggled first 20 mins, nerves, tried to force a couple of things, misplaced a couple of passes then went safe. Hutchinson too struggled, but they got better and better. His decision making isn’t always right but he’s inexperienced, his passing ability is unbelievable and played 4 or 5 asanovic-esque killer passes in the second half. He’s a talent no question, we have a few talented players actually which I’m hoping those posters slating the academy talent are now starting to realise. I don’t remember Derby having this many talented young players at one time in my lifetime.
