Your team/subs/tactics for Saturday

1. Stop doing "zonal" marking at defensive corners FFS! It doesn't work.

2. "Dead-leg" Bannan in the first 5 minutes.

3. Jozwiak and Roberts rotate frequently from left to right. Keep them guessing and fully-advanced. Lawrence central to feed off either Joz/Roberts.

4. If we go a goal up, do not then "drop" 20 yards.

5. If we concede, tighten up rather than zoning out.

6. Man-mark Rhodes if he comes on because it will be route-one a la B'ham.

Mac in charge and let Rooney & Rosenior watch from the stands.

Subs: Roos, Buchanan, McDonald, Ebosele, Knight, Sibley, Baningime, Watson, CKR

Tactics: Mac.

Going to need Shay Given's iPad more than ever to keep an eye on the Rotherham game?  I'm expecting Wayne to play for the draw (as usual) and then when he sees Rotherham are winning late on, throw on Ebosele, Roos, McDonald up front in place of Lawrence, Jozwiak, Roberts.

That would literally be the most tactics we have deployed in a game all season!

We could pray Rotherham are smashing Cardiff at halftime, so Weds stop trying, allowing us to nick a later winner.

It will be in Rotherham's favour to keep their game a tight as possible to stop this happening.

half right but they do need to smash Cardiff.  Hoping for a last minute winner or hanging on to a small lead may come true but not far too risky.  Rovrum need to win I can't believe they will be cagey.  Them leading by 2 at half time is probably the best situation for us but we both know it will all take place late on.  I hope Derby hospitals have cleared out those covid malingerers because A&E could be very busy.

A win means we stay up, so the only way to approach the game for me is to attack. If Rotherham happen to be 4-0 down at half time, then sure we can close up shop a bit, but we have to go for it at the start.

                             Roos

Macdonald Edmondson Clarke Buchanan

                    Bird Shinnie

           Roberts Lawrence Jozwiak

                           CKR

I think Byrne and Wisdom are both out, which could be really problematic. I'm not sure Knight and Shinnie work well together, or at least they haven't recently. I'd bring Bird in to allow the full backs to get on a bit more, and to compensate for playing 4 forwards.

1. Pretend it isn't happening.

2. Pretend it's only a game

3. curl up into a ball

4. Try not to cry.

5. Cry a lot.

In terms of Fat Wazza and the incompiballers?

Probably same team as Swansea but remind them it's Sheff Wednesday. Seriously. a team talk consisting of "lads, it's Wednesday" is all that should be needed.

Set ourselves up to do whatever they do, just not as well. Perhaps defending with some zonal marking?

Hi Wayne, nice of you to drop by. How are Colleen and the kids?
I suggest you're better off not reading some of the threads on here.
