Just a reminder, one song per page, please as per @sage's rules for this thread. ?

There you go @Pearl Ram, try again now.

I love the fact that some of our posters would qualify for this thread if they were a song title!

Song Title - I'm the Quine that does the strip in Inverurie................ Ram's place.

This thread is like a very poor sequel to a very good film.

I'm off back to the thread which is like a very good film but with better songs on it, in the Best song with a number in it, and there's nobody stripping in it!

In the town where I was born we were baptised by the water
In the town where I was born we were raised on hops and brown
From the beaches and the Leas to the rolling hills of Cleadon
There was music ringing til they started bringing the venues down

But mother created a jukebox.
Daddy put the ‘out’ in South, as Shields lost hope.

With the ship docks and collieries closing down, down, down.
it’s amazing the men found anything to laugh about.
But I just see smiles when I close my eyes

In the town where I was born, it was music that ruled Britannia
In the town where I was born we were dyed in black and white
There was nothing going on but we made a lot of entertainment
No we didn’t have money but we always had plenty to do every night

It’s a ‘get off your arse’ town. That won’t keep wuh [us] down
