Normally I’d be slightly disappointed that we’ve reached the point where we have resorted to playing Wycombe at their own game, but we’ve scored a goal from open play, so all reason is out the window at the moment? Football lost a GOAT in Maradona this week, but it’s found another one in CKR. What a man. Criticised the lineup at the start, but I’ll hold my hands up, the “ugly” side is definitely working. We’re showing a lot more attacking threat and creativity, and there’s a lot more effort and energy on show out there. It’s been simple but effective - we’ve created a lot more chances than in other recent games. The only worry is we haven’t taken more of them.
