Don’t think he could play Cocu ball, but was very effective often with Lampard ball so if we play more like that, it could be a good choice. I mean what the hell is that all about, he was one of the better players against Barnsley! With Te Weirik totally missing as well, it’s almost like the coaching staff are followers of Nigel Farage! Of course Rooney starts himself as well, despite being absolutely useless for months. No pace or energy in that midfield two whatsoever, I really fear the worst for us today. The big worry I have is the midfield pairing, that they won't close down and earn us the right to play. We will have to score 2 or 3 to stand a chance today.
