RoyMac5
We can't afford not to sack Cocu. We must have some money else we wouldn't have been bidding on the German striker. An agreement should surely be reached with Cocu. Plus it won't be paid all at once.
Curtains
The whole club from top to bottom is in utter turmoil. A decision needs to be made
Abu Derby
Well it certainly isn’t Cocu. He’s had his chance and it’s left us in tatters.

A sound plan. But not helped by the owner looking to sell. The owner knows he is going. The manager knows he should have gone. The players have decided to just turn up, they can't even put in the effort to win for themselves. This is a sorry mess of an end. And we have the albatross of Rooney on our necks. MackworthRamIsGod
I think the plan probably was to appoint Rooney as manager, I think the stories of him being prepared in the back ground were probably more accurate than we wanted to believe. Thankfully, I think it is now impossible to appoint him as a manager. He hasnt performed on the pitch so players would look at him as having no Devine right to get the big job. If it's true he isnt popular in the dressing room it would be a disaster to appoint him. I think the quicker Rooney and his Rolex leave the club the better. When we signed him and i was all excited a work mate who I'd trust told me he saw him in Las Vegas in a casino, he was playing machines with an entourage of chavy looking people, coleen walked in with his children and went to Wayne, which apparently is forbidden to take children off the central carpets. A young American girl went up and said "excuse me your children arent allowed in this bit" to which Wayne apparently said "do you know who I am" then the girl very innocently said "I'm sorry but no I dont know who you are and it doesnt matter who you are, it's the law" My mate said Wayne and his chavs spoke to the girl terribly but she handled it very well. After that, as much as I wanted him to succeed as a footballer, I knew he was a nob.

Carl Sagan
This story rearing its head again. Was there truth in it all along? https://www.footballinsider247.com/exclusive-Derby-county-ex-manager-in-advanced-talks-to-rejoin-club/ It seemed a real coup when Gregory first came to Derby, but obviously it didn't work out at all. Seems extremely strange to bring him back now to be the person there while Rooney works on his badges.
