German window shuts at 5pm so even less time

Does this actually matter to us? As far as I know, it's the window of the buying club that matters. You can sell or release a player at any time, the transfer window is just a restriction on when you can register an incoming player at your club.

Obviously if they want to sign a replacement before they sell him then it matters to them.

Signs a pre-contract with us in January, and then we go straight in with a cheeky bid to get him on loan for the rest of the season/take over his contract. We tried it with Mike the Werewolf last January.

Fangtastic idea

Serdar Dursun will remain with SV Darmstadt 98 - although English second division side Derby County have been heavily swayed by the Lily striker. Manager Carsten Wehlmann rejected a proud sum in the end.

As the hr-sport has learned, the third and final offer of the English second division was a total of just over one million euros. A proud sum for a second division player. Lily manager Carsten Wehlmann refused, however, partly because he had no replacement for Dursun in the backhand.
