No it's fine, the top brass decide when and where they can be bothered to apply the rules and have chosen not to care about giving a keeper leeway to step a yard and a half off his line to save a penalty, even if it would only take 2 seconds to review and another 20 seconds to retake it. However a striker facing his own goal with 1.5mm of his heel in an offside position? Yeah better clamp down on that poo. It might take 2 entire minutes to come to a decision and another minute for the players to stop arguing it, but it's all about accurately enforcing the rules isn't it? Isn't it? Anything can happen regardless of the draw. That said, I’ll be glad this will be on the TV if we make it through.
