Disappointing. We lack that bit of necessary quality. Scuffs, slices, and mis-hit efforts. we had the left boot on the right foot and vice versa.

Max bird looks a class above the rest.

Its crazy, Waghorn scores and im still not confident in him, that last miss was horrendous. Frustrating as Marriott never seems to get those chances and if he did, i think he'd bury them.

Bird was great tonight though! Shinnie was off it, id have Knight next game.

So much for the optimism for next year.

There's something fundamentally wrong with this team away from home.

Are we actually seeing any improvement game on game. I'm not.

Woeful again tonight.

Hopeless at playing out from the back, no options in midfield, and wasteful strikers.

On that performance, we're miles off challenging for the top six.

God knows what the answer is, but if we don't find it soon, then we can write off next season as well.

You watched a different game to me. We were not woeful at all. We were not hopeless playing out from the back we were quite good at it. We had lots of options in midfield but we did have wasteful strikers. We wont get top 6 this season but imo we will be seriously challenging next.

This won’t be a popular opinion but in book it quite simply how cocu sets us up.

he sets us up not to win and in doing so invites pressure on us worrying more about the opposition than letting us express ourselves

cocu stil has a lot to learn about the championship... begs the question what our championship specialist actually brings to the table

Hamer could have maybe done better with that shot, but I can’t believe that no one is slaying Rooney for that bloody awful pass that gave the ball away in the first place - ridiculous ball !!

What?! Blame Rooney? You're joking right?

Let's blame everyone else.

Enjoy your week everyone! As always, remember its just football. Have some ice cream or something.

It’s the idea of Eze and Chair that makes it difficult .

. Oh well on to the next game. Up the Rams

Watching Davies and Clarke trying to play out from the back is a painful experience .

Yeah but positively blissful compared with reading matchday threads.

Waghorn is our top scorer, but if he was clinical he'd be on about 20 goals this season. He's so wasteful in front of goal.

Wasn’t complimenting him he’s been so average finishing wise, he’s not clinical enough to be one of the best strikers in this league

Two goals conceded from simple errors once again has cost us points. A draw would have been a fairer result but at least an encouraging performance on the whole.
Bogle coming on for Davies gave the team better balance, and it’s great to see Whittaker come on and make an impact.
I imagine that defeat means we’ll see Bogle (and possibly Roos) back in the starting lineup, as we ramp up building towards next season.

Well that was shocking!

I would give Ravas a go in goal, if Hamer is the best we have then god help us.

Praise Waghorn all you like but the guy missed 2 sitters.

Rooney offered very little but as it’s Rooney he is beyond criticism.

You've just criticised him so he isn't

Why has Chris Martin dropped out of favour all of a sudden? Our good spell seemed to coincide with him playing.

Marriott, Martin and Rooney should be on the pitch together.

Hamer is poor, very poor.

Matt Clarke, I know people rate him, but he frustrates me the amount of times he passes back to the keeper, I saw Rooney lose his rag when Clarke did it with passes in front of him.

Max Bird, our best player, again, a man amongst a team of boys at the minute.
