The passing in the final third is total garbage and I think that may be having a bigger impact. I mean the passes attempted and completed from Derby in the final third are total trash for a team that thinks it's a top 6 possession side. I mean it's so far from a top 6 possession side its unreal. And I think that's why there's doubtful glances aimed at Cocu. We aren't a possession side that looks good on the ball but can't create or score chances. And we aren't a route one ugly side that keeps snatching wins. We're a possession side that makes glaring errors on the ball frequently and we don't create quality chances. Our possession stat is boosted by us losing and our opponents not having to press us. In the meat and bones of the game when it comes to possession we are pretty poor. And when it comes to quality on the ball in the final third... my goodness. Total freestyle make it up as we go along. I do think Roos is poor though. He's really tall and can use his hands. Yet this advantage seems wasted.
