Sky Betting and Gaming was sold to the Stars Group for 3.4 billion last year.  So 'Sky' do not profit directly from money wagered.  Much more worrying is that Stars Group's headquarters are in Dirty Leeds.  What chicanery is this?  I bet Bielsa's involved.  Deffo.

Are Bet 365 still basically owned by one of the Coates family who own stoke city - all of them seriously rich

This is the thing though isn't it, how much stability can the Club have when we're forever discussing when is Lampard going to leave? When is the best time for him to move on...

Exactly, didn’t Gary Rowett sign a bumper new contract   January last year before leaving for stoke in the summer? Contracts don’t mean a lot in football.

And most importantly, how would the bounce work at Chelsea?

'If you don't flipping bounce then you're a red, or maybe a white with black shorts, or even a white with dark blue shorts, or claret and blue, ooh and don't forget those light blue northern monkeys too, etc..'

I think it's a case of 'Frankie, Frankie forget the bounce'.

Happily they hate Leeds as much as we do.

The only way you can avoid this is by appointing a manager that nobody wants.

So you can go for a Billy Davies and protect yourself from having to look for another manager in the future, or you get the best man for the job and understand that unless you’re a top club in the country another club higher up can always poach your manager.

At least Billy Davies got us promoted. There's a difference between hiring a potentially successful manager you might keep and one you'll never keep, even Mel has said he's going - don't think that's a good thing.

Rudd Gullit got me chuckling this morning when they interviewed him on skysports News and he said lampard had achieved nothing yet in management but Chelsea where they sack managers who actually win trophies. - which is the actual reality

I never quite know what Chelsea fans want!

Potentially successful managers are always in demand the same way potentially successful players are.

Name me one manager that we can appoint now that would not be interested if Chelsea came calling in 6 months. One manager.

You won’t be able to, because every single one would be off just like that.

Fish don’t just stop eating and think what’s the point, one day they could get eaten by a shark.

We’re not the biggest fish out there and unless you are, you can always get eaten, just the reality of the situation.

I would prefer not to load the club with players and staff that nobody would touch with a bargepole just to say 10 years down the line, look though we’re all here together still.

I want this club to be successful and todo that we should appoint the best manager we can, sign the best players we can on contracts that protect us when the bigger fish start to circle.

Sky Sports don't know their arse from their elbow.

They have reported so many different things, they reported in the week that Chelsea had approached us to speak to Frank, now they are saying 'when' they approach.

Sky Sports are not only ruining football, they are actually targeting clubs, pushing for stories to happen, trying to get players band (Tom Lawrence) and engineer fixtures like Villa v Leeds and now they are falsely reporting stories about our manager.

How can it be allowed? The organisation that funds the Premier League, that keeps the rich rich and the poor clubs poor, how can they have such a big say in the reporting of the sport?

God knows. And God is alive and well in Mackworth, if somewhat frustrated. But God knows money talks

If Frank signs an extension on his contract, then surely this thread can be laid to rest

Yep, then we can just wait for the kneejerk thread when we lose at Leeds on opening day and people are on here saying that we only lost cause frank spent the summer courting chelsea.

The hand-wringers will simply turn their attention to the next big club management vacancy.

Mel is tired of waiting on Chelsea, he’s clearly just trying to speed them up. He puts it out there that he’s getting Frank to sign a contract new contract hoping that Chelsea make a formal approach. If they then don’t make an approach he signs frank to a new contract which ends the rumours. It’s a win-win.

At the moment we’re in limbo, can’t buy players as if we need a new manager they might not want them. Even if we did try to buy them, they’re fist question will be is Frank going to stay?

Hopefully either Frank signs on Monday or Chelsea make an approach.

Not as if silly threads will stop appearing, whatever the circumstances be
