Ambitious
Bielsa is a gem. No doubt about it. He’s taken a decent side and turned them into the league’s best. At the moment, he’s definitely deserving of the manager of the year award. Although, that being said, McClaren doing the job he’s so very capable of at QPR. It would not at all be a surprise to see them above us come Saturday and in the play offs.
Day
Chelsea prefer to sell, any loan must pay his £110k pw wages in full. Maybe one to stop suggesting we sign.

DCFC1388
Would be a huge boost to all promotion chasing teams (except Villa obvioualy) if this was to happen, scored bags of goals for Villa

Villa are still very much at threat of breaching FFP. Unless they decide they dont care about it and just spend a lot of money for one last throw of the dice i dont think they will be able to spend big. The league can do more than fine them now as well with points deductions, etc possible. Apparently they can even take them out of the Autos or playoffs if they end up there at the end of the season, so not sure they will want to breach it. Fair enough I'd say. He's clearly too good for this league and if he's ambitious he'll want another crack at the PL. Surely there's someone in the bottom 8 Prem sides who would take him on loan. Huddersfield among others want him. However it puts a might spoke in the wheel of Villa's chances of making the top 6 given he is their top goalscorer. We aren't the only side with problems. Perhaps we should recall Martin and Blackman.
